I will say though, it was definitely a warmer weekend and the AC is very limited so fortunately for us with the windows open and the ceiling fans going it kept things comfortable. "The location is fantastic! However, the interior photos on the website didn’t quite capture the cabin’s true character, as the sofa is old and dirty, cabin seemed a bit worn and dusty. Also, the cabin doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can get quite warm in the summer. I should have done a more thorough inspection before booking. Despite that, we had a wonderful time in the cabin. Thanks!"

"I loved the bathtub with jets. The bed is super comfortable. There's a microwave and refrigerator. The cottage is spacious. Good location to hike the north part of the lake. Close to a ski resort. Please note there is a busy Circle K nearby. You don't have to go to the office (no one there) to check in like the instructions said. You text ahead. There's a form to fill out and this was easy. They communicated quickly at check in time."

"This home is clean and close to everything. The air conditioning is only in the great room so if going in the summer open the windows ASAP to allow it to cool down. The first night it was top hot to sleep in the bedrooms have no fans and my son even got heat sick. But the next two nights after we could open tne windows early it was good and comfortable. I happen to work with people wirdisabilties sothI do feel the need to indicate the batjroom is not ADA accessible and the furnitire is not plus sized friendly. Worj all of tjat,itht a great place, located cloebevedutg nd the hosts are great at communication."

"Awesome place with a good breakfast on the veranda and good conversations! From the guest parking, turn left to enter. The checkin area had a self service area to make coffee. Liked the room that had AC, heating, a fireplace, and a guest book for visitors to write messages. Fast Wo-Fi. Did not have enough time to explore the living room with a piano and a guitar, veranda, or garden area. Minor issues: narrow staircases and the room AC occasionally smelled moldy"

"Worked for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys) and 2 pugs. Smooth check in and easy to find (slow down to make the turn off the 18). Good communication with owner. Love the back yard for our pups and the jacuzzi and propone fire actually worked!! Deck in front was great for drying towels. Some road noise due to proximity, but not a big deal for us. Peaceful in the backyard and not a lot of neighborhood action. Beds are comfortable (watch your skins while maneuvering around the bed in the right bedroom). Bathroom and kitchen small but very functional - faucets deliver water FAST so turn on cautiously. Plenty of pots/pans and extras like tin foil (thank you). Very comfortable and convenient for our hiking needs. Will stay again."

"The property is at the top of a nice quiet neighborhood, close to the Lake and the Village. Upon arrival, the property was clean and stocked as indicated in the listing. The communication from Destination Big Bear for check-in was clear, and they were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay while visiting Big Bear."
