"This is an historic hotel and doesn’t appear to have been updated since its founding. The room was tiny and the bathroom poorly appointed with no where to put your things. It was hard to even move around the bed without stubbing your toe or raking your leg on the bed frame! It’s a shame as it could have been a lovely hotel! The speakeasy pub on the other hand was quite good - so stop for dinner but don’t stay there"

"Really interesting Mountain View’s and unique location. Staff was very friendly in informing us on the amenities offered and helped set us up with breakfast for our stay (which beat our expectations). Not a bad spot to lay your head down after a day exploring local parks, wineries and cideries."

"Our time at Massanutten Sumit Resort was great, thought there were a few issues that need to be addressed. First of all our condo door (condo 128L)stuck ever time we opened it. You had to give it an extra shove. It took a while for the hot water to get hot. In the write up there was a mentioning of a dvd player in the condo, there was no dvd player in our condo. And we had to put water in the washer to get it to wash. Overall, like I said we made the best of things and we had a great time. And look forward to coming back again."
