The breakfast was stated as buffet but actually wasn’t the food was on show so u could pick what you wanted but it was served to you, the reason I chose to pay for breakfast at the hotel was so I could pick my own but saying that the food was nice, the rooms need a good clean, although the bedding was clean and comfy beds, I had to move the bed to look for a plug socket, wish I hadn’t, thick with dust and the dressing table very sticky and stained.

The Lyndene is very well run. The reception area is welcoming and the staff very friendly. I didn't eat there so I am unable to comment, but they have entertainment nightly and it was satisfactory for people on holiday. It is an old building with old fashioned decor but very clean. I was in a room on the ground floor which unfortunately was noisy because the floor above had rather heavy people in it who sounded like a herd of elephants night and day as the floors creaked so much.I didn't sleep very well as they also went to the toilet several times each night and flushed the toilet each time which echoed down the pipers. But for value for money it was reasonable and as I was only there for two nights I didn't ask to be moved.

Had an amazing weekend room spacious and clean. Foos was lovely breakfast was superb never gad evenin meal but the var snack are fantastic and reasonably priced entertainment brilliant at night the staff friendly paid parking well worth it. Cant wait go back

Beds and pillows are very comfortable, the room are clean with en-suite shower and toilet which was a bit in the small side, the rooms along with the corridors are in need of redecoration, the other facilities are fine, great entertainment and the staff brilliant and very helpful.excellent location with the tram stop only 200 yards from the hotel there is also free parking onsite, reasonably priced so you get what you pay for,

Lyndene Hotel Blackpool
The hotel reception, bars and restaurants were very clean and iviting on arrival. Entertaiment looked great. Friendly helpful staff. Had a long wait for our room and wasn't the only people waiting considering you have to vacate at 10:30 am... we thought 4pm was not a very acceptable time, but was given a sea view room because of this. The room was of decent size, but very dated and worn, however the bed was very comfy. The bathroom wasn't very clean around the edges of shower tray and door and was dated also. The room was very hot even though there wasn't a radiator on at all. If you go to bed early this isnt the place for you to stay... The entertainment didn't end till 1am and you can hear people in hall ways and rooms above, below and neighbouring. Overall for a one night stay just we thought it was just ok. Location was Excellent

You are able to book an early check in if you require access to your room earlier than 4pm. This is all explained on your booking paperwork at the time of booking. We are an entertainment hotel, but we do have a selection of quiet rooms that can be booked. All we ask is that this is requested at the time of booking. We checked in yesterday , first of all they charge £7 to park your car on private land (not infront of the hotel). Then because we booked though Expedia they charged my bank card £1.00. Then they gave us the key. Omg honestly when they said you’ve got to walk through the restaurant , it was a restaurant that was full. And couldn’t get through , we walked through the door to find our room. Which was a window view of a skip. Was not happy with the stay and would never go again as when checking out this morning felt like the walk of shame when everyone was eating and knocked a chair over the restaurant was tight and small.

We were woken up at 1am in the morning by fellow patrons trying to open our door very loudly and drunk due to them forgetting what room they were in. Most hotels have rules of being quite when around the rooms We had a SEN child with pushchair - unclear of how to access the door and were offered no help when were were obviously struggling the steps. The hotel seem to have an unwritten rule about children not being allowed in t for breakfast in night time onsies - something we have never come accross before (even in 5 star hotels London they are allowed in onsies as they are both small children). The reason why we do this is for practical reasons. My daughter was needing to change into her cheer outfit for a competition and we did not want to change her twice. My son has SEN with severe autism and sensory issues. He tends to make a mess while eating and we did not want to change him twice when we find changing him difficult. We were told in front of many (rather judgemental looking patrons£ that we were not allowed to have breakfast while our children were in their onsies). This was NOT explained to us during check in. As I say this rule is not typical in modern times and flexibility is normally offered to children - particularly ones of SEN. I told the lady that we had a Sen child and she did not make any comment - we felt ignored and uncomfortable. Therefore they following morning we paid £54 worth of Costa breakfast food at the service station.

Firstly we would like to apologize if you felt upset by someone being loud outside your door during the night whilst on the way back to their room however we do have over 400 guests nightly which does make it impossible for us monitor all of the corridors at the same time, but hourly safety walks are conducted. Please note that all of our menus and signage throughout the restaurants inform guests that everyone dining with us needs to be fully-dressed, wearing shoes and no nightclothes are allowed. Upgraded to sea view room wasn’t worth the extra £10 a night, room very small, not enough plug sockets, central heating didn’t work so had a plug in radiator which again only 2 sockets, no bedside lamps/light switches so had to turn off by the front door . Bathroom even smaller not very clean. Overall it is what it is but some areas need attention
