The place was filthy and I phoned you from the Hotel and someone phoned me and was going to do something for us and then hung up he phone never to be heard of again. I have never spent a place like that in my life and because we could not get 5 rooms we had to stay there. The did change or room which was not much better on the top floor. I had notified the hotel before I got here to say I had a mobility scooter so as you can imagine the top floor was not the best for me. I am very disappointed on the service from yourselves as I had no were to turn. I would advice you not to recommend this hotel. The music went on to early in the morning. The also said here card machine was not working and would like cash I did not do that but did a bank transfer to a private account I think it was the owner. The receipt I got was a hand written one not even headed paper and no vat number. As far as I am concerned there was something not quite right with everything in this Hotel and I will also think twice before using yourselves again because of the lack of help. I have been ill since I came home and that is why i am only being able to tell you the problems. If you need anymore info you can phone or email me if you can do anything to stop people going there . The Hotel was disappointing put my case on top of wardrobe when I took it down it was white with dust, The windows were filthy you couldn’t see out and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been hoovered. The staff were friendly and helpful but the cleanliness was terrible
The hotel is a bit worn but the owners have only owned it for eight weeks and told us they are doing major refurb soon, it was clean and tidy and all the staff were very good at there duties, the breakfasts were very good and the bar and cabaret were first class overall we both enjoyed our stay.
It was not as described on hotel. Com The room had not been cleaned and a old pizza box left with food on top of wardrobe. Locks not safe very outdated rooms . Breakfast was ok but needs better quality as was cheap food. But the service was excellent amd they couldnt do enough..
They have new owners only been opened 3 weeks and are trying their best spoke to new owner and we think when all rooms have been renivated and downstairs too will be a good place to stay. The owner apologised for the cleaning and was rectifying it and could not of been more helpful . Downside is parking can drop off but had to go quite away to get parking as the near by one was full . Location if not driving is excellent.
Booked this hotel as other family members had booked we had three rooms and each of us had similar problems. On arrival opened curtains to see an alley way littered with old furniture. The room and bathroom where in need of refurbishment there where holes in the walls. The only positive thing I can say is the bed was clean and comfortable.
The hotel was generally noisy. Thankfully the weather was good as we left the hotel early and never returned until late at night.
So glad that I had used my rewards night and didn’t pay full price.
On arrival we were greeted by a woman with 2 kids who didnt smile or say hello. A man appeared didnt say his name just the keys passed. Entered the room and found dirty cups and shelf. Hair crips on floor and other people's rubbish in the wardrobe.... very noisy at all times.
