"A superb hotel and an excellent set of staff to go with it. Nothing was to much trouble and the food and accommodation was excellent "

"The room was lovely, but the heating was on a timer, so it was a little cold when we got into the room. But everything else was wonderful. "

"We booked a lake view room for 3 nights and it was perfect. The lake is beautiful and the grounds stretch to the water's edge. We've stayed at Storrs Hall a number of years ago but we won't be waiting so long for our next visit."

"The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, whilst the parking was adequate as there were few guests. The room could of benefitted from having lampshades on the wall lights, there was a rouge hair in the bath and the dressing gowns were washed with too much detergent, thus not as soft as you might expect for five star accommodation, At the time of booking a table, the menu differed considerably from that seen online, in addition to the price having been increased. There was nothing on the current menu that was appealing and as such we had to go into Bowness for our evening meal, which we weren't expecting to do, as the plan was to dine in on the basis of the menu we'd seen. We were informed that the menu might be changed, but didn't see this when initially booking the table a week prior."

"View from the room was phenomenal! The room was clean, and well equipped. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Easy self serve check-in, allocated onsite parking. And again, the view from the bed out the window is amazing. Would absolutely recommend!"

"The staff were lovely The public toilets were very smelly. The rooms needed tlc especially bathrooms Horrendously uncomfortable bed and pillows. Strong smell of cleaning fluid"
