"The bed cover was dirty and full of stains. When turned the bath tap on the shower head shot off in the air with the water pressure. I was using the bath luckily. Looks like it is broken not even attached! Finding out at checkin that there is no breakfast at all for morning was disappointing. The tea kettle tray on window sill has what looks like a piece of hard bird poo. That’s about it, a bit disappointing overall!! lady next to me in restaurant had an off cheesecake, I was going to order!"

"Excellent stay in this beautiful pub. The heart of England staff were very helpful and polite. The room was warm and clean and had everything you needed, the beds were very comfatable . The hotel was very close to the wedding venue that I was attending, only a three minute drive. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Thank you all for a lovely stay xx."

"We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been."
