"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"Room was lovely, staff and services very good, buffet breakfast very good unfortunately the whole experience was spoiled for us by the HGV delivery lorry that arrived outside our window at 6am and left the engine running for the entire 45 minutes it took to noisily unload, really wouldn’t be acceptable in Japan"

"The double room with en-Suite was a wonderful room. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Only downside was the TV and WiFi did not work. On street parking is minimal, luck of the draw if you get a space. Fully recommend this B&B"
