Hüttenrode is quietly located at the edge of the Harz mountains, ideal for hiking, cycling and nature adventures. Well-marked trails start directly at the house. In winter, cross-country ski trails, winter hiking paths and ski resorts provide variety. Popular destinations like Quedlinburg (UNESCO), Wernigerode with its castle, the Rübeland dripstone caves, Bodetal gorge and the Hexentanzplatz are easy to reach. Families will enjoy Pullman City adventure park and toboggan runs nearby
