It has a beautiful scene of the lake. Staffs are kind and friendly. A room was so warm and cozy.

Very clean, quiet and beautiful views. We asked for a dinner recommendation and were sent 10 minutes up the road. It was so delicious and everyone was very welcoming.

What a lovely place to stay! We especially enjoyed the sitting area on the main level. When travelling with a group it’s nice to have a common place to hang out in the evening. We got to know the owner and some staff and it was a great end to our amazing week in Iceland. Ask the owner about his soccer stats, he and his wife are legends! 😉😉

Charming little town, with great aurora viewing points just a few minutes away. I loved this hotel. The owner was wonderfully hospitable and entertaining; and the staff were very helpful. Its close to several poihts of interest as well!

Entire hotel was very clean. Right next to hot springs. Bar in hotel. A good base for that part of Iceland.

I would suggest this property as a last resort. Try to get something else if possible. The room itself is ok but they did not provide any towel other than one for each person. Washroom had no hooks to hang stuff on. No trash bins in room.

Positive - elevator, outdoor ramp, good restaurant Negative - double room with bed almost filling room, single desk chair, 2 small nightstands with lamps, hardly any room for luggage, no place to put clothes or anything else except hooks on wall and windowsill. Bathroom - 1 small waist high hook for hand towel, no other towel hooks or bars o any place to put towels or clothes, no soap or soap dish in shower, no place to put soap or shampoo, etc.

Wonderful stay
Wonderful hotel. Nice and spacious room, courteous staff, excellent restaurant. Great location in the heart of the golden circle. What’s not to love?

Clean and nice modern room with comfortable beds. Only issue was it was loud with heavy doors slamming at nights. Otherwise nice desk staff and was able to get laundry done(for a fee), which was nice. Lots to do in the area.

Quiet place, beautiful view to the lake and cheap laundry service. But need to improve the wifi, it didn't reach too well where we were stayong, keep disconnecting from it. Also, no soap or shampoo in the bathroom, we had to walk to the near gas station and buy one.

The place was clean and the parking was fine. The staff was nice and helpful. The elevator numbers were confusing, button 0 went to the first floor. Our room was on the road side and there was a huge window in the bathroom. We had to close the curtain otherwise everyone could see you showering or using the toilet. It would be nice if the rooms had tvs.

The staff made our stay special. Filip always smiled and did his work very efficiently and professionally while making us feel welcomed and at home. Joseph also did a great job and was helpful and friendly. Best interactive staff we encountered in Iceland.

The rooms were quite adequate. Clean and relatively quiet. There was food available for purchase but not what we would want for the price. In Iceland we found out that it is common to ask guests to remove shoes in the foyer, so we had to go in sock feet to the 2nd floor. There is an elevator. Overall good for a one night stay but not where I would want to spend a long visit.

Good size quadruple room with private bathroom, beds are clean and room is easy to access from the back car park, which was quite convenient if you have big luggage to carry. Walls are quite thin though, and the kitchen can get really noisy with other travellers drinking & playing games until midnight or later. If you don't mind that, then it's all good.

Location great. Near thermal lake and spa. Spartan but clean and comfortable (it is a hostel after all) but you can get a room with a private bathroom.

There are hostel people and then there is us. This place was very nice. The people at the front desk seemed very nice. I wish we had been brave enough to socialize here, thats why one stays at hostels! We stayed in our room which was very clean (we had a private bath) luckily they had an elevator. We had a great view. Was a great price!
