Excellent quiet accomodation
We spent a couple of nights in the old dairy and had a lovely time. The property is in a very quiet location where you can only hear birds and the odd horse passing by. Very well equipped making it a comfortable stay.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful setting
A couple of wonderful days away with friends in a beautiful property; great attention to detail and a good welcome pack on arrival. Everything we needed for a peaceful short break away with friends. Great hosting by Dinah. We would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely accommodation, great location and excellent hosts
Had a great week staying at the Old Dairy, excellent standard of accommodation, its very spacious and so so peaceful. Pet friendly and nice garden. Plenty of quiet walks on the roads/lanes and paths surrounding the property and great access with car to Bradford upon Avon, Bath and Bristol. Excellent communication from Dinah throughout. We would happily stay again and recommend. Thank you.

Friend’s reunion

Great place to wind down
The property is situated in a peaceful location, with a secure enclosed garden for the dogs. There were plenty of places to walk without taking the car. The welcome pack on arrival included milk, eggs, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and breakfast cereals - most welcome after a long journey. Dinah and Mark were very friendly and approachable and offered us a warm welcome - but this was unfortunately cut short by our two unruly dogs and our hungry and impatient baby grandson. The property was tastefully decorated, and the owners had thought of everything, including a TV in the en-suite! Definitely want to return to - if they'll have us back!

Sumptiously Comfortable!
Dinah and Mark have created a wonderful little retreat in the Old Diary. Everything is finished to top standards - the beds are so comfortable, water pressure & temperature is A1. There is even a TV in the bathroom!! We along with our dogs really enjoyed our stay & South Wraxall was a great location for exploring Somerset & Wiltshire with a lovely walk on the doorstep. Loved the home grown elegant tulips & eggs - especially the blue one! Thank you :)

Great property in the countryside
Property was very well equipped and maintained. Great for walks in the countryside with the family and dog but only a short drive from Bath and Bradford Upon Avon. Hosts were very helpful and supplied a nice welcome hamper which was appreciated .

2nd time, love this place
This is the 2nd time we have stayed in the old dairy and we again had a wonderful time. We love this place, the farm is so peaceful and quiet and the accommodation is lovely. Couldn't fault a single thing with the property. Its so well equipped and very comfortable. Dinah is very helpful and not intrusive at all. We still love the area and Bagh in general. Hoping to come back again in the future. Thanks for the wonderful stay

What a fantastic stay!
No expense spared in furnishing this property and we love love love all the luxurious details. A surprise awaits you in the master bedroom bathroom. We won't spoil it here. But that was the highlight of our stay. The accommodation was brand new, sparkling clean, bright and comfortable. Dinah was super friendly and quick to respond. One of my favourite holidays ever!

The cottage was excellent and the welcome pack was fabulous. We would love to stay again. The only comment we can say is that the garden would have looked nicer if there would have been attended to and maybe a few flowers in the plant pots.

Wonderful property
The old dairy is one of the most comfortable, well equipped places we have ever stayed. It has everything you need and more - lots of little luxuries to make it extra special. The location is great for exploring Bath and Bradford but there are some lovely walks on the doorstep too. Would definitely return!

Magical Christmas
Beautiful place loved the Christmas tree and the basket of goodies. The little touches were amazing tea,coffee, milk. Loved the tv in the master bedroom bathroom. We all had a fantastic time and would love to visit again. Highly recommended xx

Great place to stay with a country feel, fitted with modern appliances and high quality finishes - no expense spared. Had everything we needed for a comfortable week away. Easy access to Bradford-on-Avon by car and a 40ish minute walk to a local cafe - Merkins Cafe.

What a beautiful and perfectly organized, well equipped cottage! The owners are superb, it’s very quiet and you really have (almost) everything! This is s superb property with high quality fixtures and fittings situated on a lovely quiet farm.
There is nothing bad about this property at all. If is beautifully situated on an old farm and is well situated fir visiting the usual sights such as Bath and Stonehenge. Everything in the property is ov very high quality and the welcome pack is a lovely touch. Even coffee pods for the machine are plentiful. We would highly recommend this property for those wanting a beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful location. We will certainly return.

Wonderful place to stay
We have stayed at the Old Dairy before in 2018. 18 months later we found the same excellent attention to detail, fabulous welcome and such a cosy, clean and well maintained character property. A real home from home. We just love this place and would happily stay here again without a doubt. The best thing anyone can do if they want to visit the Bath area is to book here (or in the new barn conversion recently completed). You will certainly not be dissapointed, we promise. Just wonderful!

Better than the pictures. Can't rate this place enough. Wonderful stay.
We stayed at this property 3 nights over New Years with another couple and a dog and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. We had a great stay. The pictures don't do the place justice (which is how we like it). We thought the place would be quite small but the rooms are big and it's very spacious. We especially liked the bathrooms and the kitchen. The owners have thought of everything in terms of amenities and there wasn't one thing we could fault. Lovely soft bed sheets, nice towels, comfy beds. The place was also absolutely spotless. Lovely area with loads to do and Bath to visit. We barely scratched the surface as we didn't want to leave the property and spent a lot of time relaxing there. We didn't get much signal on our phones there so we were very grateful for the good WiFi (so many places I stay in have bad WiFi). The owners are very welcoming and we loved the little welcome package. Lovely little farm with the horse welcoming our arrival. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we hope to come back again this year.

Everything you need and a little bit more
We had an amazing time staying at the dairy. The conversion is to a very high modern specification yet the owners have still successfully kept the more traditional dairy theme running throughout the property, with every need catered for. We travelled up for the Christmas market which was manic, and it was lovely to be able to retreat to the lodge and get the log fire going to relax afterwards. The lodge is also set in a beautiful countryside location which we are eager to explore in the milder seasons, aiming to return to the Dairy early in 2020. There was also the added bonus of waking up to the beautiful Roxy each morning which my daughter absolutely loved!

Perfect base for a wedding!
This property was the perfect base for our son's wedding in nearby Bradford-on-Avon. Everything was spotlessly clean and the property is finished to a very high standard. We had no problems finding the Old Dairy and were able to let ourselves in by following the simple instructions provided. The owner was very accommodating and provided an extra bed for our son to use for the first couple of nights. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay with modern fittings, I highly recommend this property.

What a great find. A really delightful retreat for the weekend. Everything in the Old Dairy was spot on, comfortable beds, lovely surroundings and a lovely basket of bread, cereals, biscuits and fresh eggs welcomed us. Dinah and Mark were there about if we needed them but everything was perfect so we didn't have to. Roxy was a welcome sight every morning too. The Long Arms is a must which is a 2 minute walk away with top notch food but you MUST book to avoid missing out. The 4 of us had an amazing stay , thank you.

Everything you could possibly need from a home away from home with 5* hotel touches
We absolutely loved staying at the dairy and wished we could have stayed longer. We were welcomed by fresh bread, eggs, milk and a basket full of goodies plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The old dairy was immaculately clean and we really appreciated the finer touches of soft towels, sumptuous cotton bedding and feather pillow and quilts. We all had a lovely nights sleep in the comfy beds. We would highly recommend the old dairy, it was idyllic, warm and cozy. Everything had been thought of and we will definitely visit again

Lovely property with everything you could need.
We were so impressed on arrival. The Old Dairy was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean & comfortable. There were also lovely touches that Dinah & Mark had left for our use, crusty bread, milk & fresh farm eggs to name but a few. There was even charcoal for the bbq. One of the nicest properties we have stayed in & we definitely plan to go back.

Immaculate, furnished to very high standard.
We stayed for a long weekend, the property was spotlessly clean with very high quality fittings. Very warm and comfortable. The owners Mark and Dinah were attentive without intrusion, the welcome pack of food items was a very nice touch. Great base from which to explore the area and then come home to and get the log burner going! We regularly rent properties in the U.K. And this is amongst the best!!!!!

Beautiful property and well look after
Thank you so much for our lovely stay! The property it’s self was absolutely beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Instructions on how to get to the property and how to gain access were a great help. The thing we like most was the little extras the owners have added. For example the Christmas tree, the little hamper of cereals, biscuits, crisps, butter, bread, eggs etc... there were games, books and dvd, it was all very thoughtful. Also the file with EVERYTHING we needed to know about the area and the property, we found this very helpful. We could not fault our stay here, highly recommend and all 4 of us would happily come back here. The only thing I would suggest to future visitors is- if you bring a dog and plan on leaving it there for a short period you need to bring a cage for them. Our friends brought their little dog and we planned on popping to the shop but found out we couldn’t leave him without a cage. Obviously by then we’d already arrived and hadn’t brought a cage. Thank you again for our perfect weekend!

Hi Ashleigh Thank you for your great review. I am so glad you all enjoyed your stay. I am very sorry that I didn't inform you of our 'dog rules' before your stay - my oversight!!! I am only sorry you didn't mention it while you were here as we have a medium crate you could have borrowed! I will change the property details to inform future guests. We have only just implemented these 'rules' as we have experienced problems with guests leaving dogs unattended for long periods of time (9 hours) and wanted to avoid any possible damage to the property and stress to the animal. Short family stay 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs, loved by all. Very comfortable stay with some lovely additions (wood burning stove and TV in the bathroom) for an extra treat. Fantastic weekend retreat
We spent a lovely weekend at the old dairy. The accommodation is immaculate, finished to a very high specification, right down from the appliances to the quality of the sheets and towels. The welcome pack was appreciated and the fresh flowers a nice touch. The gents loved looking at the cars with Mark. We have stayed in many self catering accommodations and this is the best we have been in. Hopefully we can return again.
