"Wonderful location, excellent friendly staff and the food was great. Only negative was the loud music from the Tower Bar until. Fiona (restaurant), Steph (spa) and the reception staff member who checked us in were all outstanding staff."

"This property was fabulous. It was within perfect walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, while still having a quiet part to it. While we do not have children, there were many options for activities for families with children. The breakfast included was nice. The hotel has a very nice gym and pool facility and plenty of parking for guests. They also allowed us to check in early, which was a great help.
We did ask about the pizza bar mentioned on their website and were told to go somewhere in town for takeout. We did find out after that the hotel has a pizza bar within walking distance near the Westport House, so do lookout for that; we were disappointed that we missed that option.
Also, a tip would be to call and check hotel prices BEFORE booking with Expedia. We were upset to know that the hotel was $30/Euros a night cheaper if we booked direct (this hotel was a last minute booking on our trip due to a change in itinerary). Not a fault at the hotel, just Expedia really. Something to look out for!
Overall, this is a great hotel and a beautiful town and when we are back in Ireland, we will definitely be back! "
