Great value for money. Room was comfortable and spacious, food & drink options were good and all the staff were very friendly. Perfect for a quick one night stop over.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Overnight stopover , only had breakfast which was fresh cooked and served to the table. A very nice "pub with rooms" , very comfortable bed. Useful as a midway point when travelling to , Cornwall as only a short distance from the motorway and easy to find.

Passing visit
Only issue was a cold room. However found a convector heater in wardrobe. Potential problem in that it had not been safety checked for over 6 years.

Thank you gor your review, we're sorry that it was bit chilly the radiators were on the temperature probably needed turning up, the safety checks are all up to date so I believe that the sticker has come of as its all been done recently this has now been sorted so thank you gor the information

Ok if you are a heavy sleeper not bothered by nois
Rooms very hot facing A38 so not able to get any fresh air due to lorries 24/7 continuously going up and down this busy road to large Morrisons distribution hub half a mile down the road.

The staff where friendly booking in easy. Room was dirty the whole place seemed greasy. Shower was unuseable due to black mould in the seals an in the grout lines.

We booked 2 rooms. Number 8 perfect. Number 14 the toilet was crammed in a corner and even a 12 year old couldn’t sit forward on it. As was only for 1 night we didn’t complain but not fun having to sit sideways on toilet

We have had a fantastic time here. The staff were amazing the location was perfect for the event we were going to. The manageress was so helpful and accommodating she went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome. She and the rest of the staff are a credit to the company and we will definitely be back next year. Highly recommended

Best stay so far!
Excellent stay. Exceptionally clean and tidy and modern. Good bang for your buck. And the food and bar was top notch. This has been the best stay we have had in our trip in uk to date for price, comfort and food.

A brilliant place to stay from our lovely welcome to our food and bedroom. All first class would highly recommend. There is some road noise if you are on the front but it didn’t disturb us we slept really well.

The room was very clean and spatious and the beds were very comfortable. Was excellent value for money We had the family room. The main bed was very large and the childrens bed was a proper single bed. All in all very pleased.

Check in was easy, room was clean and roomy, bathroom a little dated but adequate, my only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the door to something that has better sound proofing as the room opens directly on to the carpark all noises can be clearl heard and occasionally were quite loud.

Overnight at Admiral's Table
The accommodation was 100% perfect. The room was warm, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom equally was excellent. I will certainly put the venue on my list for future visits. We also ate at the hotel and service was second t none and the food great value and good.

Key confusion
Some confusion over room keys meant many trips up and down the stairs. which after a 14 hour day was not welcomed. However, complimentary soup and a drink was well received and overall a warm welcome from this good value hotel.

Very friendly staff, very clean and tidy, room had everything needed, good sized TV, plenty of tea/coffe/sugar/milk, beds were very comfotable, shower was great, view was also really nice, room was very large and had spare pillows, there was also sound proof windows fitted which completely drowned out any outside noise.
