"Yes, the room was spotless; looking fresh and new. Spacious and well equipped; huge TV and comfortable bed with smooth sheets. In fact, the whole hotel took the appearance of somewhere normally priced well above what I paid. Lastly, the hotel staff had the courtesy and initiative to call me.afyer I had left a phone charger in the room; which I was able to collect."

"Staff were faultless as usual despite the fact that the receptionist was only 3 months into the job. Rooms were lovely as usual excepting that A7 needed a faultly microwave oven replaced and B7 had a particularly loud whining hot water service constantly whenever in use."

"Perfect accommodation for our purposes. Well equipped apartment, good linen, two bathrooms, quiet, secure. Communication through the Stayz app did my head in but Michelle was brilliant and sorted it out. It'd be good to know the exact tram stop outside and the address is a bit ambiguous. I took the tram and got off at 56 Chapel St but it was in Windsor, not St Kilda so I got off in the wrong suburb! Which suburb one is in is only obvious to a local. All just detail that can be sorted. Most visitors surely use public transport? But as a place to stay, this was ideal and we will book it again and a top-rate host. "

"I’m not really sure what to say or where to start. I almost decided to sleep in my car. The people were friendly and sociable (aside from the host taking my phone off airplane mode when I asked for the wifi password; $20, kaching, for roaming!) but the home… hygiene was an issue from the kitchen to bathroom (bring your own toilet paper), the bedsheet was laid down, not big enough to be tucked, mosquitoes in the room all night, even a closed (?) door could not keep out the pot smell from the hallway. All for the low price of near $200?…Two stars instead of one because it was quiet at night. I could say more but will stop there. "
