South Bank

South Bank blends culture and outdoor beauty along Brisbane's riverfront promenade. This walkable area boasts the stunning Streets Beach—Australia's only inner-city beach—alongside lush parklands with rainforest walks. The Queensland Cultural Centre houses world-class museums and theatres that showcase Australia's artistic heritage. The iconic Wheel of Brisbane offers panoramic city views worth capturing. Vibrant weekend markets and waterfront restaurants create a lively atmosphere for both locals and visitors. With excellent train connections at South Bank and South Brisbane stations, exploring Brisbane's highlights couldn't be easier.

Fortitude Valley

The Valley pulses with Brisbane's most electric nightlife scene. Brunswick Street Mall buzzes with live music spilling from bars and clubs into the neon-lit streets. Chinatown's red lanterns guide you to authentic Asian eateries where the aroma of dumplings fills the air. By day, browse eclectic boutiques and vinyl shops along James Street or catch experimental performances at the Judith Wright Arts Centre. The area blends historic Queenslander buildings with modern architecture and vibrant street art. Brisbane's CBD is just a three-minute train ride away when you're ready to explore further.

New Farm

Brisbane's New Farm blends riverside charm with trendy urban life. Historic Queenslander homes line tree-shaded streets while Brisbane Powerhouse arts centre buzzes with cultural events. The neighborhood's crown jewel is New Farm Park with its famous rose gardens and jacaranda trees. Catch a CityCat ferry from Sydney Street Terminal for scenic river transport. Explore boutique shops and award-winning cafes along Brunswick Street. Stroll the riverside paths for beautiful views or relax under ancient fig trees in the park's 15-acre grounds.

Brisbane Central Business District

Brisbane's Central Business District balances sleek corporate towers with riverside charm. The winding Brisbane River frames this bustling hub where global businesses operate alongside heritage sandstone buildings. Queen Street Mall offers excellent shopping while South Bank Parklands provide a lush escape. Catch performances at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre or pay a visit to Treasury Casino. Two major train stations make exploring easy, while CityCat ferries offer scenic river transport. The district transforms from business centre by day to entertainment hotspot by night.

Spring Hill

Spring Hill blends historic charm with modern city access in Brisbane. Heritage-listed sites like the Old Windmill and Victorian Spring Hill Baths tell stories of colonial times. Tree-lined streets showcase classic Queenslander homes with wraparound verandas and offer panoramic city views. This peaceful residential area sits just minutes from Brisbane's bustling centre. Morning birdsong from kookaburras fills the air while cafes cater to students and locals. The hilly terrain rewards walkers with impressive vistas and a genuine local atmosphere away from tourist crowds.

The Star Grand Brisbane

The Star Grand Brisbane

10/10 Excellent
"We booked the riversuite and was given a corner room. Room is nice and we could see the suite but being in the corner, it was more of a side view than full view. Our living room was facing an office building and construction at queens wharf residences. However, the room was nicely furnished and we enjoyed it a lot. The automatic blinds, soft/bright 1 touch panel gave it a nice touch. Full day parking can be purchased but requires an extra ticket to validate the exit so going to the reception everytime can be quite troublesome if theres a queue. Convenience of a sizeable casino and connectivity to bridge, city area and many restaurants, cafe eateries (within compound as well) in short walking distance. JC from front desk was the most welcoming of all and took initiative to arrange for birthday cake, gave drinks vouchers and such. Small details but it meant so much. Absolutely love the location, the cleanliness and how new it is. We will return but probably not take this suite again."

"Room was spacious and clean - friendly staff and smooth check in. View from the room is excellent and the kitchen was fully equipped, with a large fridge and a freezer. Downside is that it is noisy in the night with lot of traffic on the highway, and train running all night. Also, the daily room service was just a change of towels - they did not clean up the room. Luggage storage could also be better - they just ask you to leave your luggage in their store room, without recording them in their system. Overall, everything went smoothly for us."
