"My partner and I stayed for 1 night as a birthday gift. Our room was huge and spotless clean. The bed was great and very comfortable. However, the room was cold and despite a small fan heater the room did not heat up. The shower was over the bath and when on soaked the bathroom as no shower curtain. We had our evening meal in the bar area and it was beautiful, lots of flavour and piping hot. Not much choice on the menu and a little basic but good on price. Drinks were a bit pricey. We took advantage of the spa as guests to the hotel can use it for free. The gym was great and well equipped, the pool was lovely and I really enjoyed the sauna and steam room, it was very relaxing. Disappointed the hot tub was not working. Breakfast was a help yourself affair with a good choice of food from cereals, ham, cheese, fruit and pastries to a full cooked breakfast. There was also juice, tea and coffee. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but next time would like a warmer room please."

"A very good multiple choices of breakfast, follow staff's instructions, we got free parking near side for three days. Like most hotel in Wales this hotel also act like restauranter, pub, and hotel. The staff are so friendly, willing to take extra effort to help us out. We even like this town's living so much, wishing to come back in the future. TO LIVE."

"We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A lovely welcome. We had a delux room which was excellent and although facing the road it was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was excellent, with a good menu choice. A good selection of cask beers brewed on site as Corn Brewery. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We highly recommend."

Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff were lovely, ensuring that I had everything I needed. Would return."
