De Vere Wokefield Estate

De Vere Wokefield Estate

8/10 Good
"The first room was like a furnace, as light was beaming in and no air con. We asked to change and to their credit they found us a better room however it was still hot. The hotel chain needs to update to air con in all their places. It’s a must nowadays , we cldnt sleep. The De vere group prides itself on quality and beauty but its letting itself down by not keeping up to date with clients needs to actually sleep in a comfortable sleeping environment"

"This was an amazing hotel and cannot wait to return. Check in was greeted by lovely staff, especially young gentleman (sorry didn’t get name). Unfortunately lady did send us to the wrong room but gentleman sorted swiftly. Bar staff were lovely. We sat outside and it was just beautiful. Lovely view over Thames. Breakfast was an absolute joy being coeliac and having so much choice. It was one of the best. Highly recommend Rooms clean and the bed comfortable. Stayed in double exec 468 Thank you"

Castle Hotel Windsor

Castle Hotel Windsor

10/10 Excellent
"I was sceptical at first given that I was informed after booking that there would be building works ongoing during our stay and some facilities would not be available. However, this did not affect our stay at all! We loved our stay at The Castle Hotel as a family of 4. To start, the Reception Team were very welcoming and friendly on arrival. I had already informed the hotel that we were celebrating our son’s birthday and they made such a fuss of him! When we arrived in our room, our son was surprised with a lovely birthday message, gift and beautiful ‘happy birthday’ written in chocolate along with chocolates, he was absolutely delighted with this! The room itself was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. The air conditioning was great and we were very grateful for the inclusion of the contents in the mini bar after a hot day exploring Windsor. The location of the hotel is perfect and right in the middle of everything, including Windsor Castle. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend."
