"Stayed as we had an early flight the night day. Unfortunately our room had a connecting door, and from 4am our neighbours spoke very loudy so we all felt awful the following morning. We booked a family room for 4 of us, but only had towel and mugs for 2 and when I asked for extra mugs was told I could only have 2! Breakfast was ok. Also a note for future guests. There is no complimentary water and the vending machine is very confusing to use, so we nipped to the petrol station over the road."

"We stayed 4 nights. After a poor standard Classic room (32) on our first night (cleanliness issue), we were moved to the Bridal Suite for our 2nd night and we were told our first night was being refunded. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. On the back of that, we booked another 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Luxury room (Room 17). Beds in all the rooms were comfortable and the rooms provided all normal facilities (tv, table, chair, toiletries, wifi) and we could go to Reception for more tea/milk/water, which was much appreciated. However, the issue of floor cleanliness became the turning point for us. In all 3 types of rooms we occupied it wasn't nice to walk on the floor in bare feet. All the floors (bare black floorboards) need a good scrub and in Room 17, the curtains need to be taken down and washed, the bottom 4 inches being grimy. This doesn't fit with the description "Luxury". After the staff had bent over backwards to make our stay special, we felt we would be churlish and ungrateful if we brought up the subject of cleanliness again, so we ended up moving to another hotel.
