"Worn out old thistle but ok for a pre or post night stay with easy access to T5 via the pod system. The place is in need of refurbishment, think run down Travelodge but the onsite restaurant helps to redeem the place and the breakfast was fine too. Aviation geeks will like the outside terrace for close ups of departing or arriving aircraft. There didn't seem to be a lift to guests were having to lug heavy cases up the stairs and staff did not advise otherwise."

"Lovely hotel, Remarkable for the price to be fair. Room was nice and spacious, beds and pillows were comfortable, shower was hot. What more could you ask for? Nice walk around the grounds in the morning after breakfast too. Amazing value for the breakfast, with everything you'd expect. Would certainly stay again if I was in the area."

"The first thing you notice is the large car park. You can walk into the bar to tell them that you have arrived and someone will go through to reception to check you in. The check in takes a few moments and once you’ve got your room key (not a bit of plastic but a proper metal key!) You can go through to your spacious room. Mine was spotlessly clean. The double bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed an excellent night’s sleep. In the morning a short walk to the bar/restaurant was rewarded with an excellent breakfast, continental or full English breakfast was available together with a number of lighter options. I was very impressed with the quality of my large plate. A great way to start the day. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will happily return when I am back in the area."
