Top Basingstoke Hotel Reviews

New Place

8/10 Good

"Clean room, good breakfast selection, unfortunately bar closed early at 10.30. No biscuits with the tea and coffee in room facilities"

Sir Christopher Wren Hotel

8/10 Good

"We have stayed here many times and it is a lovely hotel. Our room was clean, the breakfast was lovely and we cannot fault the location. What let the stay down this time was administration. We did not receive the email to confirm our parking despite me telephoning the hotel to ask for this. We were not informed that our exit from the car park would be delayed because of a state visit. I fully appreciate that there was nothing they could do about the road closures but they could have let departing guests know that there would be restrictions. I missed an important hospital appointment because of the poor management of the situation."

Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor

10/10 Excellent

"Just the most fantastic bed, which is the core service in any overnight accommodation. Parking was tight but felt safe, Room was just excellent, with the minor annoyance of the lack of plug sockets, not just next to the bed, but even next to the desk space. But aside from that, the bathroom was excellent, the restaurant/bar area in the hotel was good, the conference facilities were good, and the leisure facilities, though we didn't get chance to use them, looked inviting. Top notch, well done."
