De Vere Wokefield Estate

8/10 Good
"My fiancé and I stayed for 1 night as we came up from Plymouth for a wedding reception. We were lucky enough to be given a corner room, and despite it being a long walk from reception, the room was lovely. The staff were very kind and brought some goodies to our room. Parking was good and convenient, however the car park seemed to be full of entitled people. People who decided that they’re allowed to take up 2 spaces with their one car. Strange behaviour. I feel as though some kind of parking enforcement should be in place to prevent this. Otherwise the hotel is great for a short stay."

"The room was clean and tidy apart from the carpet which was threadbare in the corner of the room, The meal we had was nice and well cooked and reasonably priced for a hotel. Breakfast was good with a massive choice on offer, The staff onsite were fantastic and were on hand to help when needed. The bar had a good range of drinks and again really was affordable.
