"What a great experience! Staff were friendly and helpful, bedroom was thoughtfully laid out, attractive and clean; mattress really comfy and an extensive, varied breakfast. All this and a little spa for relaxation. Reception looked after my bag (after a noon checkout) whilst I went into the city by tram - which was just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. All-in-all great value for money- highly recommended."

"Arrived at the hotel and took advantage of the valet parking which was quick and easy - my bags were even taken straight to my room. The in room amenities and extras were excellent. The pool was quiet and I even had it to myself the morning of my stay. I dined in Baba which was delicious. The only small negative I encountered was that my room was above the restaurant so it was a little noisy. The location is excellent for exploring both the Old Town and New Town of Edinburgh."
