"Thank you Keswick Cottages for your wonderful service. All your communications were superb and I particularly liked the pdf guide book. Three Peaks is the best holiday rental I have stayed in. Not only is the location perfect, the house is well designed and the kitchen is well equipped for every culinary need. I miss waking up to views of Skiddaw and catching the sun at all times of the day on the patio and the seating all around the house. The three peaks are clearly visible from the large windows in the living room. Our group comprised six adults so the three large bedrooms and three bathrooms were perfect and ensured we had our own space and privacy. We loved coming back from walks in the fells and having room for boots and damp waterproofs near the front door and then coming together for family meals and board games in the light modern dining room. We all have happy memories of our stay in the house and lovely village of Braithwaite. We will be back. Thank you. ☺️"

"Mill House is a perfect property to enjoy some relaxing family time, there is everything you need and we all loved playing pool in the evenings. There are lots of walks from the doorstep, even Keswick is only a couple of miles down a trail and there are lots of buses. We didn’t use the car for the whole time we were there. Hopefully we will be back again soon."

"Host and family were really lovely.Spotless cottage. Top grade facilities.Spectacular views from all windows.It is Borrowdale after all one of our favourite places to visit.Patio was lovely with river view.Pity the weather wasn’t kinder.Will hopefully visit again soon."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a lovely stay at The Royal Oak in Rosthwaite. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with so much character, set in a gorgeous location. The staff were absolutely fab — so friendly and welcoming — and the food was fantastic. Everything about the hotel made it feel relaxed and homely, and we really enjoyed our stay. I’d definitely recommend The Royal Oak to anyone looking for a lovely Lake District break. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️"

"A couple of things- the fridge isn't working very well- I appreciate it was very hot last week but it was difficult to get the fridge to the correct temperature. The refuse and recycling bins were not collected whilst we were there and had not been collected the previous week either as they were very full"

"Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!"
