"Good clean room with adequate furniture and bedding.
Great breakfast and had two good dinners whilst we were there. Staff very polite and helpful. All in all a very pleasant stay and would certainly use again."

"Excellent budget stay. I was the only person in an 8-bed dorm, and was one of only two people using the communal facilities on the night of my visit. Excellent hostel facilities and good systems in place."

"Everything was perfect, from the friendly check in by Neil to our check out by a lovely lass whose name I have sadly forgotten The breakfast was superb. The room spacious and clean.
We were in room 4 and the only downside, for me, having a sensitive sense of smell was being woken in the comfy bed by the strong smell of bleach, it was even worse in the breakfast area. It did not bother my husband at all. If I stayed again, I would ask for a room higher up, or further away from the bar area and not have the breakfast, lovely as it was, I would eat elsewhere. There must be cleaning products that do not smell so unpleasant. Such a shame. I give it 5 stars because others may not be bothered by the bleach.

Quirky Cottage in The Heart Of The Yorkshire Dales. Great reviews. Book early
10/10 Excellent
"Great location in the centre of Hawes. Lovely little cottage, comfortable rooms not huge but it is a quirky cottage. Be sure you can handle stairs! Everything you needed for a great stay. Chippie across the road, Cafe's & pubs 5 minute walk. Bus stops outside to train station at Garsdale and Leyburn for onward Bus to Blacksheep brewery. Dog friendly walks all around. Just a great place we had a lovely time."
"This was a wonderful place for a midwinter retreat. Cozy, clean, comfortable, and well supplied. The location was perfect - isolated (the only signs of life you can see from the cottage are hundreds of sheep and the occasional car) but a five minutes’ drive from Hawes, which has groceries, a pharmacy, pubs, etc. The owner was very welcoming and responsive to my questions. Highly recommend! "
