"Picture postcard hotel. We had a garden room which was tastefully decorated and being able to sit in our own conservatory was great but the hotel had a bar and snug which were also lovely spaces. Beautiful garden with stunning views over to Hawes and it was just so peaceful to sit out there. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and we also had dinner in the hotel and this was beautifully presented and delicious."

"This lovely setting in a little courtyard right by Gayl Beck was a great base for a Dales holiday. Within minutes of the national park information centre and the village centre, it was the perspective starting point for 3 perfect days out. The car had a rest too as we could access some lovely walks from our doorstep and the Little White Bus for further afield"

"Even after reading the very positive reviews, the flat exceeded our expectations. Furnished and fitted to a very high standard, we also felt this is very much a home for the owners and that it was a place we could relax and feel at home too. We had been slightly worried that the traffic noise from the main road into Hawes might be a nuisance, but the triple-glazing is very effective. We'd also like to add that our visit was during a very hot week, but the flat remained comfortably cool even without fans or air conditioning; simply taking basic measures like closing windows and curtains appropriately. Our 1960s' home in Bedford is certainly not built to deal with our increasingly hot summers nearly so well! We have already recommended the flat to friends who visit the Yorkshire Dales and would definitely return when we next plan a holiday in Wensleydale."
