Lovely enclosed gardens front and back, with two log burners no less, for colder months. Village is quiet and peaceful with one pub (literally 2 mins walk) serving food. Other amenities in nearby villages - great quiet retreat or base for exploring the Peaks in general. First visit, and would have no hesitation booking again. "
