"This was simply a great Hotel/Inn to stay at. Staff were super friendly and nice, beds comfy, breakfast delicious and if you're a history nerd, it's right next to the Roman walls.
Would absolutely come here again."
"Nice location, staff were helpful and breakfast/food was great.
Stayed for one night in the heat wave and room was sweltering - but found a fan in the wardrobe to help."

"After a 6 hour drive we arrive at rush jour to a lovely receptionist who instantly made us. Smile, the room was very clean and functional with a small but comfortable double and a single, we slept very well it was perfect for what we needed it was hot but the fan provided really helped "
"Beautiful buildings and setting when you first arrive driving through the golf course. I had previously asked for an early check in as we were attending a wedding off site, however they did not manage that for us, so we stored our bags and checked in on our return from the wedding.
Breakfast was very good on a very nice restaurant "
"The staff make this property all it is. This a small space, althought the restaurant compared to the 2 bar areas is surprisingly large and air conditioned which made all the difference on the heat-wave day that we visited."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Helen was lovely welcoming us, and was very helpful with any queries we had.The cottage was lovely with stunning views of the country, and the pretty garden was large and secure for our dogs to wander around.Location wise, it was only a short drive to Chepstow. Usk, not too far away, is a very pretty town with lovely pub/restaurants. Also visited Tintern Abbey, which was a lovely day out, with lots of craft shops and tearooms.Highly recommend, and would love to visit again sometimeLynn and Carol"

"Honestly one of the best stays I've had. Becky answered all my very annoying questions prior to arriving and was super friendly when we arrived. We were 13 and the place was large enough for us all. There's lots of seating inside and outside. The hot tub is really lovely, clean and large! The place was spotless and has all these cute medieval bits and bobs everywhere which is super vibey! The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking for lots of people. There was a sweet arrival pack of tea, milk and biscuits. The local Wye Valley was so nice for walks. Honestly can't fault it."
