Felicidade Rocha II - For families, with a pool

Quiet, good views and a swimming pool are great reasons to spend a holiday with a ‘direct connection’ to the countryside.
Set in a plot with two twin houses, this property offers comfort and well-being for you and your companions. With three bedrooms: two with a double bed and one with two single beds, the house have a maximum capacity of 8 people, thanks to the double sofa bed available in the living room.
The room is large and has been decorated in detail, thinking of the functionality and comfort of the guests.
The kitchen, in open space mode, has all the necessary utensils to cook your meals.
Outside is the “icing on the cake”: a fantastic swimming pool set in a large lawn area where you will surely spend your days with fun and happiness.
A space like this calls for long lunches and barbecues with family or friends. You can make your daily barbecues in the excellent interior space, designed for lovers of good grills!
If you rent a car, you can park inside the property.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
This property is located in the west of Madeira Island, in the parish of Ponta do Pargo, municipality of Calheta. Being in a more secluded area, you will not find any kind of commerce in the vicinity of the property.
Forty minutes by car are Porto Moniz's famous swimming pools. Nearby you can visit the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse, which is an 8-minute drive away.
In Prazeres area you can find a market and restaurants.
In the municipality of Calheta you can visit the museum installed in the 'Casa das Mudas' or take a dip in the sandy beach, right in the center of the village. There you will find a medium-sized supermarket and several restaurants serving regional and international cuisine.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the cabs you'll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address.

Beautiful!!

My family and I had a brief 4 day stay. At the end we wished we could have stayed for a whole week or more. Beautiful home. Tough to navigate the drive and the steep terrain, but that’s Madeira! We loved the clean pool and spectacular views. Nothing but chill.

Wunderschönes, sauberes Haus

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit im Ferienhaus. Alles war modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Betten wären bequem, es waren verschiedene Kissen vorhanden. Die Außenanlage war ebenfalls wirklich schön, der Garten völlig ausreichend. Das einzige Manko war der nicht -beheizte Pool. In der Höhenlage war es meistens kühl und das Wasser entsprechend auch kalt. Leider stand in der Überschrift des Inserats fälschlicherweise "beheizter Pool". Der Fehler wurde behoben, für uns war das allerdings mit 2 kleinen Kindern wirklich schade. Sie sind nicht reingegangen. Die Lage ist sehr hoch, die Straße zum Haus steil und die Einfahrt etwas eng aber auch das war kein Problem und man hat sich schnell dran gewöhnt. Man konnte super im Hof parken. Danke der Lage hatte man einen wunderschönen Blick auf's Meer und konnte keinen Unterschied zwischen Himmel und Wasser erkennen. Das war wirklich toll!

We stayed in this accommodation for 10 days: a very pleasant and large holiday house located in a quiet area near Ponta do Pargo. The house is very well equipped and has a beautiful view on the sea. We could not have chosen better!

Schönes Haus

Wir hatten 12 schöne Tage in diesem Haus. Alles in allem hat alles nahezu perfekt gepasst. Zwei Sachen sind anzumerken und sicherlich Geschmackssache: Das Haus liegt auf 700 Höhenmeter, war mir vorher nicht so richtig bewusst war. Wir waren im Okt/Nov dort und das Haus war immer von Wolken umhüllt. Im Esszimmer gab es einen Kamin/offenen Grill/Ofen. Das fanden wir voll toll, nur leider roch es die ganze Zeit nach Feuer in diesem Raum.

Ein wirkliches tolles Haus mit Blick auf das Meer

Das Haus ist toll. Es ist sehr realitätsnah beschrieben. An sich haben wir alles vorgefunden, was wir brauchten. Es war sehr sauber, alles genügend für eine 6köpfige Familie vorhanden, die Kommunikation mit der Agentur tadellos. Was man wissen muss: Das Haus liegt auf 700 Höhenmeter. Es gibt einen Essbereich, der mit einem offenen Kamin/Grill ausgestattet ist. Leider riecht ist dort immer nach "Feuer/Grill".

Beautiful , light , airy modern full mod cons Villa

What a lovely Villa. Full facilities with modern cooker (induction) , bbq , fantastic showers, very comfortable, ac, all mod cons. The swimming oil was not heated so a little cool for oct. The location is great but on a steep hill so difficult for car . Parking spot a little tight. Loved the place and they were very alert to fixing any minor issues. Delighted with response. Very very comfortable stay. We are retired and as it’s on a hill so we could not all go for walks . I did as I am fitted. Great Villa. Would recommend to all who are fit

Perfect location

We had a great time in madeira because we could see all the beautiful things in a really short time from our house. We had an hour to the northside of madeira and an hour to the east side. The location is great. It was a little bit cold at the beginning in the house but after we turned on the air conditioning it began to heat. Thank you very much for this beautiful home for a week!

Fantastic modern house in a quiet location

Rented this house for a month (with 3 adults) and wished we could extend for another month. It's an exceptionally comfortable house with spacious bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. While we were here in February, the weather fluctuated from cool to warm and we kept the inside temperature consistent, thanks to the heater/AC combo unit in the living room. The WiFi let us all work remotely without any issues. We rented a car for our entire stay on Madeira and parked it behind the house while we lived here. Having a car for this location is strongly recommended as it would be difficult to get groceries and essentials otherwise (the nearest supermarket - Pingo Doce - is a 20 minute drive).

A dream in the quiet west of Madeira

A wonderful house with lots of space, in a dreamlike and quiet location. The levada not far away. Great view from the pool, modern and new facility. Structurally in good condition, well equipped kitchen with extra grill and dining room in the "winter garden". We enjoyed our stay very much. Service and help from the agency were perfect.

Uma boa estada

Foi uma boa estada e a piscina é excelente. Não havia era talheres suficientes para 8 pessoas (apenas 6). Tb copos de vidro para água/sumo/vinho não eram suficientes (para 8 pessoas) e algumas canecas seriam úteis. Houve alguma confusão com a entrega da chave no fim, mas de resto foi bom.
