"Overall, The Holbrooke is a lovely place to stay, and I would happily return. My one complaint is the included breakfast. The only options are scones and a frittata, neither of which was particularly good. Both were quite dry. I think a simple selection of breads, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit would be a much better alternative. After the first morning, I opted to go across the street to the café for coffee and a pastry instead."

"There is no communication from the host in a town that has no Wi-Fi. No one was home to answer the door or greet us when we got there. So he stood there a little confused, not knowing what to do until we eventually saw a piece of paper around the corner that said the keys were in the door. Once we got in and put our stuff down, we were quite comfortable. I actually enjoyed that there was no Wi-Fi or TV or even an electric clock. It’s exactly what my body needed. To sit down with a glass of wine and my mother to reconnect and have some quality one-on-one time. I think I would have appreciated a little information as to what restaurants were in this tiny town since I had never been here before. It wasn’t hard to find, and we had an amazing meal down the road. I would definitely come back."
