The rooms were comfortable and clean. Although slightly noisy with fellow occupiers getting an early start in the mornings, but that’s part and parcel.
Our breakfasts were in the pub, and it was good quality. Friendly service too! Would definitely stay there again.

Great find….
Staff were really friendly and ensured we had a lovely experience. Being so close to Howletts we may return in the spring and tie in a day trip.

The bathroom was freezing and the heated towel rail was not working. In the morning we realised we might have needrd to glick a seitch but t here was no switch telling us to do this.
Stay was very good, property was very nice, room was lovely but beds were bit small for my 6ft 2inch boy.
Surrounding were good, breakfast was lovely, dinner was very nice, staff were very nice and helpful.
Parking was lovely no hassle at all.
I recommend every to visit and experience the atmosphere .
almost everything was excellent apart from the comfort of the beds, we found them very hard and uncomfortable. The staff, on the other hand were excellent especially Jessie, she was amazing.
Brilliantly friendly staff, superb food and comfortable accommodation. Fabulous location for visiting Canterbury and the north east of Kent. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.
Great food, comfortable well equipped room in a charming pub/inn. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful setting. Great service. Great value. I highly recommend this inn.
We spent one night and will likely return. The rooms are a tad small, we but loved the place. Super easy and free parking. The staff are all so friendly. The pub was awesome and the free breakfast was made to order and very delicious!
Accomodation block is not connected to pub (which is a good thing). I had room 15 on 1st floor, which was big as was ensuite bathroom. Roof windows did not have any blinds which was an issue in the summer. Wifi was not good. Breakfast (included in the price) was great (I had the cooked breakfast) and there was a large choice but it took a while to arrive after ordering. Also the breakfast is advertised as being served from 0700 but the first slot you could have was 0715, which made me a bit late for my appointment nearby.
No wonder the Evenhill is so highly recommend, all the staff were exceptionally accommodating and our room was spotlessly clean. Thank you much for such for such an enjoyable weekend

The room and en-suite was quite dated but still comfortable and clean
Nice stay in a conveniently located village on the outskirts of Canterbury. Good clean room with the added bonus of air-con during the hot few days we stayed. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Overall it was as expected and we would recommend.
For once we travelled to Kent without our car but the Evenhill is easy to reach by bus or taxi from Canterbury. There are great cross country walks in all directions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was fine and breakfast provided a good choice.
The room was beautiful, we were allocated a room large enough to maneuver my wheelchair. There was a coffee machine as well as tea-making facilities. We were offered fresh milk on arrival. Parking was easy and our car was outside our room. We found the staff team very helpful, friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed breakfast.
We booked a couple of weeks ago as a last minute half term break, with our girls & 2 dogs. Wanted to visit my childhood haunts. We did shopping in Canterbury and walked loads along the coast. The check in was so easy & welcoming. Evening meal was delicious 😋 and the breakfasts were fantastic. Beds were super comfy and room lovely & clean. Would highly recommend
Friendly staff, really tasty food. Handy bus stop right outside to save the hassle of driving and parking in Canterbury. Rooms were really clean and well maintained although the furniture could do with updating. All in all a great place to stop a few nights while visiting Canterbury.
Friendly staff but room dated and no bath tub as was advised. At 8:30 at breakfast was told that due to full house no bread/pastry left, only (very sweet) cereals, cooked breakfast was nice though. Dinner at restaurant was good.
