"Location: Beautifully located directly on a gorgeous beach. Room: Our room was clean; as was the whole resort, Nice touch to find a small birthday cake in our room on my husband‘s birthday. Staff: The staff were friendly and helpful. On occasion we were ignored by the bar staff. Buffet: There were always plenty of options to choose from and the food was fresh and plentiful. Some choices could be hotter. Restaurants: We only went to the Bahama Steakhouse on my husband’s birthday and were disappointed. The service felt rushed, I received the wrong entree, my husband’s steak was over cooked and the room sounded like a cafeteria…cleaning of plates, etc. Bar/Entertainment: The room was big and the acoustics were not great, but a nice option for people to gather for drinks after dinner. Pools: We were always able to get a lounge chair and the pool temperature was perfect! Activities were available throughout the day for those who wanted to participate. It was nice to be able to see the ocean from the smaller pool with bar."

"The view from our room was amazing. We purchased water view and the view was beautiful (ocen wing building, 6th floor, room 6322. The room is basic but clean and remodeled. I liked that there are hardwood floors instead of carpet. The only problem (not property fault) was that after 2 nights a loud group of guys checked in above our room. I understand that people come to party but this was a vandalism not a party. Luckily security guards addressed the situation but next nights they were loud too but not as bad as the first. Coral is affordable so maybe more young people book it to party. If it wasn’t for that, I definitely recommend the Coral. "

"BAD: Our first full day we had jack hammering/construction beside and one floor down from our room. We could not enjoy our room from 8 to 5 because of the noise. Upon complaint, they were in no hurry to compensate. We had to speak to them 4 times and finally got a $100 credit at the end of the stay. NOTE: If you get breakfast included, make sure they take it off your bill at the end. They handed me a bill and then said "oh yes, I will take that off right now." It felt really shady. GOOD: The cleaning staff did a GREAT job in the rooms. The aquarium was wonderful."

"The Galleon House is so quaint and authentic, that we wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else! It is definitely a hike up a hill of steps, which fits into the location perfectly. The room was clean with a great balcony, air conditioning, adequate amenities for an island getaway, perfect options for continental breakfast with nice strong coffee, a refreshing pool, beautiful flora with lizards and a kittie mascot welcoming us each morning, a great central location, and very helpful, wonderful staff. Our favorite aspects of the room included a comfortable bed and pillows and a fantastic shower. We found the tile comfortable and water flow so refreshing and superior to many large chain establishments. This gem is truly an island experience that we will cherish!"
