Basic hotel, pay for what u get.
Good Brekky! You could purchase a hi-viz jacket from the tent outside.. Good location and a nice restaurant next door

Well the property was in a desired location for my wifes graduation the day after arrival that was a easy 5 min drive down the road thats about as good as it got the room was a bit dated in urgent need or updating there was a few things wrong in the room that i wont go into the breakfast was good the bed was good enough for the night sleep we both needed a shower in the morning but was always going hot and cold but we managed so like i said it was in a convenient location so we were prepared to let the small stuff not bother us we arrived at 8.30pm and left at 10 am the next day so in a nut shell probably wouldnt go back unless the property went through a good update.

Avoid!
Booked to stay here in June but had to rearrange due to a bereavement. I now need to cancel the booking so contacted the hotel. The staff/owner said to contact Expedia but I booked through Hotels.com so I contacted them instead. They spoke to the owner multiple times who has refused to cancel the booking. I have contacted the owner direct via text message asking why they are refusing to cancel the booking and why they feel they can still charge me. They have read the message but refuse to answer. Avoid like the plague.

The hotel was clean and cosy. The decor could do with a little attention. The staff, especially the gentleman were excellent. The main bathroom light and the bed side wall light were not working and an electrician was not available so the three of us and our dog were all given free breakfasts. We had a bedside lamp and a more than suitable morror light in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Our little fur baby was treated like a king!

The rooms were dirty and facilities were also dirty. The lights in the bathrooms were not working the dust was thick and the rooms were grubby The shower was also dirty Probably one of the worst hotels ive ever stayed in They offered rooms for free the follwing week and id rather pay and stay else where . Considering it cost £720.00 it was disgusting

Arrived at property from hospital after seeing daughter in HTC at 10pm. Couldnt get into hotel and guest let me in. Had paid for Family room and was given a twin single room. Bed was at a slant and tipping me out. All i needed was sleep and food. What i got was overcharged and more stress. Im not.a usual.complainer. Sorry.

Dated hotel with shabby carpets, bathrooms and decoration. Owner is new so hopefully will be refurbishing this in due course.

The hotel was very welcoming. Staff went above & beyond nothing was any trouble to them. Hotel & rooms were very clean. Bedding smelt lovely. Would stay there again

Great location, friendly staff, lots of places to eat, beautiful area to walk about. Great breakfast. There is something about the old pubs that chain hotels cannot duplicate. I would stay again.

Really Poor
You get what you pay for, a roof over my head for the night. The room was awful and certainly not clean or warm. It had a smell , sorry to say I felt dirty when I left, the carpet must have been 25 years old, just crap. The guy on reception was nice, the only positive. The building is fab and is in desperate need of some tlc inside and out. I wont be back, shame was some investment it would be fab.

The property is definitely an older property. Our room was at the very top and the railing was loose and seemed unreliable. The room had a musty smell and has older furnishings. The room was hot and only had one window which opened a couple of inches for air flow. However, the linens were clean and the bathroom although also clean is compact.

We stayed one night on our way back from an Irish roadtrip. We didn't arrive until quite late, but were greeted by a friendly receptionist and sorted out with our room. The room was an older style and had quite traditional features but was welcoming, warm and comfortable. The showere was abit hit and miss with the temperature, but nothing that worried us too much. Good tea making facilities.
