"The young lady at the front desk (J 😊) is amazing! She was so friendly and warm to my daughter and I. My daughter was sad to leave her when we had to go home. She is the best thing about this hotel, hands down. She makes you feel right at home! Regarding the hotel itself, it’s good, not great. The location is perfect for Legoland and food, and is on the lower end for pricing in the area, which is why we chose it. No regrets. The room was very clean, although on the small side and oddly spaced out, with the bathroom at the front, then a long hallway to the room itself. The room was very basic, with basic amenities.. mini-fridge, microwave, small table, small desk and chairs .. but no coffee pot. The internet didn’t work for the tv, so we couldn’t use it for our whole stay, and the wifi only worked the first night, not the second. The lighting is definitely lacking, with one ceiling light off to the corner side of the room, and two bedside lamps that only provide light to the nightstands themselves. There is a small pool, which does not go very deep and is pleasantly warm. The parking is a bit sketchy, a tight squeeze unless you go around back. The proximity to the freeway makes it very noisy all night long. All in all, It was good enough for our stay, without costing too much. And again, the young lady at the front made all the difference. The grumpy older man on the night shift would not have sold us on this place."

"I like this Motel 6. However, last night they put me next-door to two yapping dogs that were in pet friendly room that woke me up at 4:30 with the dogs yapping and then again at 7 AM"

"We had a great stay. Only one block to the beach. We are native to north county but moved out of state and will definitely stay in one of Rene’s properties again when in town to visit family. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels, toys and a wagon. The washer and dryer look brand new and are huge! Just bring some detergent with you and take home everything clean. The kitchen has all the necessary dishes and cooking accessories, just bring along some ground coffee for your morning brew. Complex was completely quiet during our stay."

"Great location and great communication! We had an event late at night and I called the host and she took care of it right away. We had family staying in rentals nearby and the big yard was a perfect gathering place. We had a wonderful stay."
