"The young lady at the front desk (J 😊) is amazing! She was so friendly and warm to my daughter and I. My daughter was sad to leave her when we had to go home. She is the best thing about this hotel, hands down. She makes you feel right at home! Regarding the hotel itself, it’s good, not great. The location is perfect for Legoland and food, and is on the lower end for pricing in the area, which is why we chose it. No regrets. The room was very clean, although on the small side and oddly spaced out, with the bathroom at the front, then a long hallway to the room itself. The room was very basic, with basic amenities.. mini-fridge, microwave, small table, small desk and chairs .. but no coffee pot. The internet didn’t work for the tv, so we couldn’t use it for our whole stay, and the wifi only worked the first night, not the second. The lighting is definitely lacking, with one ceiling light off to the corner side of the room, and two bedside lamps that only provide light to the nightstands themselves. There is a small pool, which does not go very deep and is pleasantly warm. The parking is a bit sketchy, a tight squeeze unless you go around back. The proximity to the freeway makes it very noisy all night long. All in all, It was good enough for our stay, without costing too much. And again, the young lady at the front made all the difference. The grumpy older man on the night shift would not have sold us on this place."

"I like this Motel 6. However, last night they put me next-door to two yapping dogs that were in pet friendly room that woke me up at 4:30 with the dogs yapping and then again at 7 AM"

"Hotel is in a nice central spot to visit Carlsbad and the surrounding areas. The AC could work better, but it did its job. I enjoyed my stay here, I had no real issues. I would recommend to anyone traveling to this area of the west coast."

"This location served as an ideal retreat for relaxation and quality time. The rooms were pleasant and inviting, each possessing its own distinct character. We and our fur baby particularly enjoyed the patio and pool area. The kitchen was well-stocked with ample cutlery, suitable for hosting a large family gathering. Additionally, there was an excellent selection of books for reading and a variety of board games. The primary appeal of this spot is its close proximity to a superb array of restaurants, a supercharger station, and the beach—all situated approximately 10-15 minutes away. Carlsbad beach, a mere 10-minute walk, is a pristine haven for surfers. The city's ongoing upgrades to the beach seawall and cliff walk make it an especially pleasant place to visit around sunset."
