"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family was very satisfied with our stay at “Sands of Time”, Great House! The location is exactly what we wanted, right on the beach, it was beautiful. It is up north from Corolla so take what you need if you don’t want to drive back but we enjoy driving on the beach so really not a concern of ours. We were very happy with the house condition, very clean, great condition, and had great amenities. The property management (Laura) was excellent, she was very responsive and helpful in all aspects. You can’t go wrong staying here, enjoy the beach and if it gets to hot just walk a short distance back to house use the outdoor shower, jump in the pool and don’t forget to crab your favorite refreshment from the Tiki bar! I would stay here again “NO QUESTION”!"

"We took a 3 day vacation with extended family for the first time. This beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home (each bedroom had it's own bathroom) was absolutely what we needed. It's different levels allowed for privacy if you wanted that but also had a huge living/kitchen/dining area with with decks . There was also a second living area on the level with 3 of the bedrooms. Every level had a deck where we spent a lot of time. The 3 and 6 year old were having a ball between the beach, pool and hot tub. Everyone wants to do it again next year!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. All of the amenities made our trip easier. The house was clean and well stocked with towels and beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cookware, utensils, cups/plates, and storage containers. We even found two silicone trays that worked well to make ice cubes for our cooler. The house has a nice countertop ice maker for drinks. You will definitely need jugs of water for drinking, cooking and the ice maker. I would also recommend some chip clips for your snacks and crab crackers if you plan to have seafood at the house. There is a large pot for cooking. The propane grill was also nice to have. We really enjoyed the use of the beach chairs, boogie boards, and kayak/paddle board. The hot tub is nice and relaxing also. We enjoyed a fire on our last night- just bring your own wood. Bug spray might be needed if flys are biting at the beach or mosquitoes at the house. The horses visited the house a few times and we saw them on the beach as well. The neighbor has some cute ducks and chickens that may pay you a visit."

"Splash of lime was the best family vacation place. There was something for everyone and fun was had by all. Well stocked kitchen and the 5 gallon water dispenser kept us well hydrated. The second fridge came in handy for beverages. Thoughtful details throughout. We never felt like we were missing anything. Carova beach was so special we would be coming back for sure."
