"Beautiful property with scenic view of the entire city. Scenic elegant restaurant with gorgeous view of city. Excellent Fitness center. The only thing I would say is no air-conditioning in room but that’s only a problem if it’s over 20°! would stay again."

"The Hotel was very nice, historic, and has a lot of nice qualities. However, what I was REALLY impressed with was the front desk staff. I worked with several different people over the stay (nothing to do with the hotel stay) and each person was personable, professional, and eager to help. Great experience. The room was just ok. I have stayed at other "historic" properties (just one example: Waldorf-Astoria) and this room good, but just not great. For the price, I might find another hotel now that I have had the experience. However, that has nothing to do with the hotel or the staff, just the price to value."

"Parking in a nearby lot which is walkable and reasonably priced. Excellent hotel with excellent amenities especially the gym, coffee shop and bar. shower was amazing. Staff is helpful. there is a train station on one side of the building, if you are a light sleeper consider the opposite side. Would definitely recommend staying here. The decor of the rooms with record player is pretty cool."

"We enjoyed our time at the Maldron. It is a pretty close walk to the main part of Cork for shopping restaurants, yet far enough to not be in the night life. Vivian and Niason(sp?) we're great in the hotel restaurant. "

"We booked the Teeny Tiny Room for 2 nights! I personally thought it was great. Our only issue was a missing shower door bottom seal that let water leak onto the floor of the restroom. Also, choose a room away from the alley for a quieter stay. "
