Great location
Great location next to many good restaurants, Food in hotel is not great so unless you have to go half or full board go breakfast only. Too many good restaurants nearby.

Extra charges for everything - I e a kettle !! No toiletries , cheap thin towels Staff very friendly and rooms ok Awful experience trying to dine elsewhere one night so dined in hotel again last night (should be €21 as against €16 as not prebooked) but ended up at €27 as not booked at reception !!!

from the moment we arrived - (no even before I had emailed to ask that we could have an early check-in and reception phoned not once but twice to say this was no problem ) - we were made feel very welcome. Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was only 50 metres from reception. A double sea facing exclusive. I noted the corridors were all carpeted...this goes a long way to kill noise of other guests walking by your room. Nice touch! Our room was wonderful - everything as was pictured in the website. Nice touch of welcome gift. Plenty of fluffy towels and a huge bathrobe. Breakfast every morning was a huge buffet......freshly refilled even minutes before the end of service. Cannot comment on lunch or dinner as we ate in the village every evening. But speaking to other guests I believe this was wonderful too. The pools were spotless - ( sadly the water was very cold ) and more than enough sun beds so need for early risers to reserve beds with towels!! The hotel is only mins from the village through the very conveniently placed back door.

The Hotel is well maintained and there’ are a lot of activities provided daily. The rooms are rather small and compare with Hong Kong size rooms. The staff are very pleasant commencing with reception, Elena to the Barman Andrea. Unfortunately it is a huge complex and it needs to explain that there are two parts..... family and couples.... the noise and yelling in the area our room was in was totally unacceptable. The breakfast buffet is huge, but the volume of people showing up at one time makes it a very unpleasant experience. maybe they could get some rubber castor wheels for the table clearing carts so it doesn’t sound like a train when collecting the used crockery. I would stay here again but would be careful of the location of the room.

Superb hotel in a great location,we will return.
We received a fabulous welcome from the very friendly and professional reception staff. Special mention should be made of Antonio who provided us with a welcome drink and diligently outlined all of the facilities available in and around the hotel. The reception area is very impressive,spacious and airy,well furnished/decorated and spotlessly clean. The room was also very spacious,spotlessly clean,well equipped,comfortable bed,good bathroom/amenities and spectacular views of the sea and golf courses. The public areas were superb with great swimming pools,spa,gym,children's play areas and gardens. The bar and restaurant were excellent and breakfast was plentiful and of very good quality and variety. The hotel is within easy walking distance of El Rompido's beach,restaurants,bars and shops. On site parking is available for a small fee (€5) and is well worth it for security and proximity to the accommodation.

Unexpected stop over.
We chose this place as an alternative to Lisbon would you believe, after struggling to park in Lisbon and the weather being atrocious we decided to move on and stay here as our next stop was Porto, it was a good choice as this is a resort and had all the amenities, very tidy and clean with attentive staff at check in. The restaurant was self service but what a choice available, both in the evening and at breakfast.

They had construction on the deck right in front of my room long before I wanted to get up. Cutting cement and using a blower. Not cool when you have waited 18 months for a vacation.

El Rompido
Lovely location and hotel very nicely laid out. Outdoor pool area very relaxing. System for getting towels for the pool a bit silly as they have to be obtained from Reception. Also, the instructions for entering and exiting the car park not very clear. Overall a great place to stay.

Short stay as part of driving holiday from UK
Efficient and polite welcome by English speaking reception staff. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights B&B during our driving tour of Spain & Portugal. Great food , very clean rooms, great location & good standard all round. Excellent buffet dinner (18 Euro pp) . So good we tried extending our stay by 3 nights but unfortunately the hotel was full over that particular weekend. Would have given 5 as overall rating had it not been for the very very high bar & cafe prices. The good news was that a small & very nice "Centro Commercial" was no more than 100 metres away , accessed through a security gate in the hotel grounds . Here you will find a few very nice bars & restaurants with excellent views over the lagoon / marina . All at very reasonable prices . Do take the free boat trip to nearby beach where you'll enjoy a secluded unspoilt beach.

A work venue with a difference
Everything at the hotel was perfect - offering a standard of service far beyond that expected at the price. The breakfast was a lengthy affair, with so many options on offer, including the Cava to enhance the orange juice, that it became the main meal of the day, drifting into coffee and rum. This was an excellent way to enjoy the patio and most of the day. This provided a perfect work venue.

The hotel with its many amenities was indeed impressive, with nice view to river and sea. Only the quality of the hotel restaurant service in the evening was not satisfactory. Only buffet service was offered. Although wide selections were available, the "warm" dishes were luke-warm and the quality of the offered fish was not the best. Morever a fee was charged for a quiet unnecessary reservation for dinner service, as the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived.

Good family friendly hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Stayed 2 nights, pedicure in the spa was pleasant, didn't use other spa facilities. Pools good, quite cold! kids club am and pm, can leave kids over 4, craft activities etc, ball pool, playground. short walk to ferry to the beach and short walk into the village (restaurants etc) Satisfactory visit. Most visitors were spanish.

Wonderful location, excellent value for money
Wonderful location, amazing scenery from almost any point on the hotel grounds. Large rooms, clean bathrooms, beautiful pool area. With free breakfast, free boat rides to to beach across the estuary and free entertainment, this has to be the best beach-oriented tourism hotels I have been to in the seven years I've been living in Spain. The hotel organises loads of activities for those who are interested, and also offers bicycles for rental.

This hotel was brilliant value for money. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The Thursday night seafood buffet was good quality and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nos hemos alojado en este hotel por motivos del campeonato de Andalucía de ajedrez, en MP, tengo que decir que la habitación amplia con 3 camas para mi hermana, mi hija y yo, baño amplio, todo muy limpio, respecto a las comidas, excelentes, tanto por la variedad como por la calidad. Si sales por la puerta traseras das directamente a un centro comercial y al puerto deportivo.

Déçu du choix de l’hôtel car pas de plage et obligé de prendre un bateau pour si rendre, parking payant, coffre fort payant, spa payant, bateau navette payant, accueil moyen, dommage car l’hôtel est bien et repas bon! Chambre trop chaude impossible à rafraîchir sans dormir la fenêtre ouverte, lit confortable, Il y’a mieux ailleurs qualité prix, les détails font la différence, le litre de glaçons avec du coca 10 euro, c’est un peu exagéré, restaurant beaucoup de bruit, les serveurs tappe chaque assiettes avant de les lancer dans la pile, bref très bruyant, très beau parc et piscine, visiblement hôtel qui a du succès mais pas trouvé la raison des bons jugement
