Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy!
Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."

She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. Beautiful building with great history. Rooms were quiet and clean.
