Room was very clean and well thought out, staff were friendly. Free parking and breakfast included was a real bonus! The beds were abit firm and i thought we would have extra pillows but slept ok apart from that. The only thing that put a downer on the stay was lots of kids running around outside my door from 7am but I suppose hotel staff couldn't do anything about that. Price was very competitive given that I booked with only 24 hrs notice!
Apart from that, I would definitely stay at an Ibis...

The hotel itself was gorgeous. A big shout out for Katie, the charming, smiling young waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service skills. Thanks Katie. However, OUTSIDE we were appalled to see 12 rat poison bait boxes in the immediate vicinity of reception. Rat poison is lethal to anything that then eats the dead rat, including owls, foxes, cats and dogs. It’s a slow and agonising death- cruel in the extreme. A rat actually sat in the middle of the road for 5 mins...

The room was spacious and clean. The beds are just ok, not the most comfortable. The 24/7 reception was great, especially since we checked in after midnight. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I stayed for a week in order to visit my son who is studying at the uni. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choices. The room was just what was required. The bathroom was cleaned daily and towels were changed every day. There is a strange whistle from the shower but if the water is pushed to full pressure it seems to stop the noise. I didn't ask to have the bed linen changed during my stay although the option was available. However, the maid could do better with...
