"This is my girlfriend and I’s second visit, we were drawn to the quiet area and seclusion last year from everyday life and decided to rebook. Island life… Rooms are on the older side but the resort does what they can to maintain as best as possible. Private own resorts should be supported as much as possible IMO. This is a place for people who don’t want to be around many people but still wanna enjoy themselves."

"We recently stayed at this resort and overall had a pleasant experience. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the water park was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist when needed. That said, there were a few areas that could use improvement. One of the biggest drawbacks was that most of the resort activities, shops, and amenities seemed to shut down around 5:00–6:00 PM. After that, there wasn’t much to do besides spend time on the beach, which made the evenings feel a bit limited. The dining experience was also somewhat underwhelming. While there were a couple of restaurants on-site, the food was just average and the service was inconsistent at times. More dining options and a stronger focus on hospitality would greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, we had a decent stay and enjoyed the beach, water park, and helpful staff. With more evening entertainment, expanded dining choices, and improved restaurant service, this resort could offer a much more memorable experience."

"I normally don’t leave reviews, but families deserve a heads-up before booking here. My family and I booked a room at Suncoast Inn in Englewood, FL, and quickly realized the A/C in our room was not working properly. The room was hot and uncomfortable. When I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms, the man working insisted the A/C was “fine” and refused to move us. After going back and forth, he finally came to the room to check it himself and decided it was “cool enough for him.” We were basically told to deal with it. Instead of helping us or moving us to one of the multiple vacant rooms we saw available, he got an attitude and said he would rather refund our money than switch rooms. So at 1:30 in the morning, we were forced to leave and scramble to find another hotel. Things happen — A/C units break, I get that. But poor customer service and refusing a simple room switch when vacancies exist is what made this experience unacceptable"

"I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. There are no bugs. The water pressure is good and there is hot water. This property is on the water and my room has an outstanding view down the canal. Each room has a private balcony and a kitchenette. My room faces west ,so the sunsets are gorgeous. There is a nice pool area with 2 barbque grilles. The grounds are immaculate. The laundry area is big and very inexpensive washers and dryers. Brian, the manager, is the best. He is very friendly and extremely helpful should you need anything. This is an excellent place to stay."

"Overall great stay. Property comes with limited toiletries so recommend bringing your own. Had some issues with the washer and the upstairs bathrooms. The pool and the hot tub were great."
