"Gorgeous hotel! Pristine place . The rooms, pools, landscaping, cleanliness, comfort, staff are all incredible. Only cons are that it’s not near anything. You need a car to get around. They offer golf cart shuttle to a convenience store to grab food or drinks. The menu is limited at the hotel restaurant. No tip option on hand pay machines so bring cash . They can’t make small change so it’s a bit inconvenient. We ran out small bills then couldn’t tip anymore. No nightly entertainment either. It was a very quiet place when we came. My daughter and I had the pools to ourselves. It was lovely. Peaceful and no people. "

"Listen….. I’ve stayed at a few Secrets (and hotels related to the brand) over the past few years, and I’d have to say that THIS was probably BY FAR THE BEST Secrets I’ve stayed in. From arrival…to check in…to being upgraded at no cost…to having your own concierge that makes sure you’re okay and keeps you up to date with the daily activities…to the rooms….to the restaurants/food options…the spa…the beach club…ALL OF IT! Top tier!!! I was sad to return back to reality after having such a great NYE vacation. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Tulum! Thank you to all the staff for your professionalism and hospitality! "

"We had a great stay at Casa Agape. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location is not great but close to downtown area bars and restaurants within walking distance. It is a bit noisy because of a hostel/karaoke bar across the street and a lot of roosters in the neighborhood. Breakfast was great ( good variety and freshly made) and very convenient as we had a large group ( 7 people) including several teenagers. The only thing was missing is an espresso machine, but we do not find it to be a big problem as there were a lot of coffee shops around. The best part of the stay was the included passes to Casa Maria beach club. The beach club is situated inside the Jaguar Park with a gorgeous beach. It was only a 10 minute drive and we found it convenient to parking since they had valet. The restaurant at the beach club was the best food we had all stay, reasonably priced (cheap compared to other places) and great service. The beach club also has a pool and lots of options for chairs. Everyone had a great time! "

"Looks nicer in the photos than it actually is. Floors were dirty, bed/sofa bed very uncomfortable and hard. We were only provided two towels for 3 people and no pillows or sheets or a blanket for the sofa bed. We went the first 24 hours without hot water and our toilet stopped working at one point. We were let into another unit to use their hot water (there wasn’t any) and found that our unit did not have a toaster or coffee maker like that one did. If you wanted a towel changed out or more toilet paper you had to message for it. No wash rags or any of the toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc) you get at a typical hotel. This was absolutely bare minimum."

"The rooms were clean and proper, and staff was super friendly and accommodating. I also liked how walkable this location was to many spots in downtown! As a solo traveler I felt safe the entire time here. "

"The luxury 2 queen room was so surprisingly extra spacious with its uber high ceilings, and no unit was on top of us on the ground floor. The grounds are immaculate, and the rooftop garden was surprising. The free breakfast was great as well - were pleasantly surprised there was a free made to order entree and not just buffet style."
