"The receptionist Kelly was her name. Kept on telling us that our booking was not there. Expedia tried to call her and we heard the phone ringing ,but she wouldn’t pick it up and kept on fixing her hair or cleaning her fake nails. She tried to redirect us to another hotel (mariposa) saying that it was a sister company of best western and maybe our booking was there. When the check in instruction clearly states that we were at the right address!! I would not recommend this hotel. She almost ruined our trip. "

"I’m in my late 50’s and have no children. At my age and traveling alone I can tolerate a lot. But this property was not very well maintained. I know they must respect the night sky and limit light pollution, so be warned when you walk the grounds at night bring a flashlight! They have zero-night lighting. Plus, driving around the campus was difficult because there is very little traffic signage giving proper direction. The parking striping has faded, and it was difficult to navigate the roads. They can place reflectors on the pavement that will illuminate the road path when the headlights shine on them. That would help illuminate the road but do not give off light pollution. During breakfast no one at the restaurant was managing the buffet. They ran out of fruit, eggs and sausage. They also ran out of coffee during breakfast! That can’t happen. No one was bussing the tables. Half the tables were not available because of someone else’s dirty dishes. I stayed in building six (6). The hallway smelled like a basement. The room was fine, but they need to clean the full-length mirror and pay attention to the those kind of details. The bathroom was also fine. The towels were old and were not soft. The Tavern was nice. The Post Office was difficult to find. They had people driving around on golf carts. I’m not sure if it was a taxi service or not. No one offered me a lift. "
