"This property is historic, beautiful and well-maintained. When I stay in hotels of this type, my expectation is above-average service, and amenities. The rooms delivered by being spacious and modern with the ultra-plush beds (extremely soft, little back support) and a large walk-in shower. Housekeeping for those staying more than a day or so is not until the late afternoon. We normally left early morning and got back mid-afternoon, so our room was never cleaned. Management had no remedy to room cleaning, so we needed to make requests for towels, soap & toilet paper. Parking was valet for $43 per day however, the garage they use behind the building is available for self-park at $10 per day max. Missing and a nice touch most hotels of this type provide is morning pastries and coffee downstairs in that beautiful huge lobby area. This was a good stay, just wish the service level was a bit more elevated especially in housekeeping."
