"We had a wonderful experience staying in this lovely cottage on Lake Champlain. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. The accommodations are comfortable and the hosts were thoughtful and considerate, providing everything we could need. They were very friendly, as were the surrounding neighbors. "Everything was fine except the door to the room, I forgot that you had to push hard to open it. We got it. It was very comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed the self-use kitchen and facilities. "Dillenbeck Cabins are excellent. They're 'rustic' (lots of wood, built by Amish carpenters - it's a cabin not a hotel) but practically new and immaculately clean. The heating is excellent and the cabin comes with all the kitchen. You need to bring linens/blankets and towels but that just makes it feel more homelike. "Overall, the stay was good. The rooms seemed small and the bathroom was very small. Recommendations: replace the toasters in the breakfast area with two four-slice quality toasters. They do not work well and took forever. There were five people waiting to use the toasters. iIt was awkward having the safe in the bottom of the closet. My husband had to lay on the floor to use the safe."
