"We never ate at the hotel it was less expensive elsewhere. Can’t complain except towels need to be renewed. Also hand soap would be nice. Room noisy in the morning because of traffic. Staff should greet customers coming in and out of hotel it’s part of your job!"

"Breakfast wasn't well stocked, swimming pool was OK but the showers weren't working in the changing rooms and the changing rooms were dirty. Rooms were clean"

"Beautifully maintained property with expansive grounds and hiking trails that cross the property and so it is brilliant for walking and dogs. The room we had was exceptional and came with a small garden which again was heaven for the dog. The stay in a place like this is always about the staff though, who were great. Particular shout out to Marly who was the perfect blend of professional and warm and to the older chap who was training one of the new staff when we arrived and was particularly good as well. The only thing I would ask to improve is that there be some way established for people with dogs to enjoy the restaurant rather than only the pub. I’m sure it could be achieved somehow."

"Very tired rooms. The shower was lukewarm. The breakfast was ok, but it is obvious they use cheap ingredients, eg the sausage, plus the whole full English, which they prepare in the kitchen ( not buffet style) had a very greasy flavour to it. "

"Lovely stay. Beautifully appointed hotel with lots of tasteful communal areas and sitting rooms to relax and enjoy a Cotswolds gin and tonic. Knowledgeable bar and restaurant staff who were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Great grounds for a stroll even in freezing February."

"We stayed in one of the hotels premier suites. It was too big! The decor and design were dated and the lighting and airconditioning problematic. The huge bed had sheets that weren't fitted and the bedspread wasn't very clean and had hairs and dust in evidence. The shower was brilliant and it had 2 baths in the room The door lock jammed when we returned for our second nights stay and the staff took 20 minutes to let us in, but were excellent in giving us free drinks while we waited in the bar. Parking at the hotel is minimal and we paid for 2 days in advance at £10 per day. On the second day there was no room in the hotel car park, due to a wedding at the hotel. They refunded the second days parking charge. Overall not a stay we will repeat."
