"Super staff, perfect location, very good all round "

"It was our first time in Rome and we didn’t know what to expect. The Hive was a very nice hotel, especially for the price. The images online don’t do it justice. Very clean, modern design. The rooms were spacious, but not large. I would say equivalent to a midpriced hotel in the USA. It has usb and usbc charging ports next to the bed for cell phones. The location is very close to the metro but a fair distance from the major attraction of Rome. Walkable to some but a quick Uber ride to the rest. It was quiet. There is a rooftop restaurant. A nice small grocery store within a block. Some decent restaurants within a block or two. I would stay here again. For reference, we are a middle class family in the Philadelphia, Pa. suburbs. Also, we arrived very early(7am) and the Hive was happy to stow our luggage for 5-6 hours before our rooms became available. We felt safe in the area. Again the graffiti and online images gave us pause, but I felt safe with my wife and kids. Hope this review helps others. "

"Great stay! Great location! Bus and train is near! Coming from the airport, I took the train to the 1st stop & the walk from there to the hotel was 10 minutes! The staff was lovely, and the actual room was nice!"

"We didn't do the breakfast. The room was really nice. The beds had some sort of memory foam which took some getting used to, but we stayed 3 nights. Very nice location. "

"This hotel was fabulous. Right next to the Pantheon with a great view from our room, which was remarkably quiet for such a central tourist location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served at a small cafe about 20 meters down the road and made for a great start to the day. We will certainly be back!"

"Nice hotel with spacious rooms. But our room was not cleaned multiple times whilst we were out for the whole day. They don’t replace coffee and milk pods in the room unless asked (which we had to do every day). Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good."

"We had the exec suite, with one bedroom with walking closet and a huge family room with full kitchenette and a dinner table. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very nice and responsive. The breakfast buffet was very good. I would like to mention that at nights, we could hear a lot of city noise, but I suppose that's the price you pay to be in the city center. The location was excellent. I wish the bathroom was more practical. There is almost no surface for your toiletries, and no hook close to the shower for towels."

"Super helpful staff and very nice rooms and comfortable beds. Very friendly room servicing crew and doorman. An AMAZING breakfast, with large variety of cold options, croissants, bread, muffins, jams, fresh honey, fresh ripe fruits, and made-to-order eggs, and super tasty, freshly-squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, expresso - we always had a nice breakfast!! Decor is definitely “retro” and inviting to gathering of friends in the lobby for talking and having out. Although the old-style keys for doors and lights was a surprise, the very decorative key rings made up for it - very stylish! Location of this hotel is very central, very easily walkable to many restaurants, even a nice, longer walk all the way to the Vatican. "
