Lovely getaway in a quiet village near Bourton-on-the-water. The room was ready for us in excellent form with welcoming cookies and music. Our room was in the attic which meant my husband had few incidents where he had to adjust to the low ceiling, but apart from that it was in top-notch quality, including the bathroom. The window view to the fields was so peaceful and nice.
Overall, the staff were very professional & friendly, and the two meals we had (dinner and breakfast) were one of the best we had in Cotswold. There were a lot of locals coming by for dinner which showed this place doesn't just serve tourists. We were lucky to avoid any rain in the morning, so we took the walk along the recommended routes (there were three routes) around the inn which was so refreshing.
If you have a car and would like to stay somewhere that isn't too touristy or too busy, I would definitely recommend this place. We really enjoyed our stay and just can't wait to come back for a summer stay next time.
