One night bed & breakast

Breakfast was great. I stayed in a double room myself, due to the temple accommodation full. The staff were friendly. The bedroom was very nice and clean.

Sound rooms with great pub.

Great room & quite cool regarding the hot weather. Nice hot shower, comfortable bed with nice breakfast to start the day. Stayed before twice & will be back when in area.

Ideal place for a short stay in Chorley

I had a very pleasant two night stay. Room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was dark (with the curtains closed), quiet and an ideal temperature so I slept well. Great choice at breakfast, served hot. Friendly staff, too!

Outstanding staff and service.

Everything was great, especially the service from staff, who were very friendly. It’s nice as a solo traveller on business to have someone engage with you and for it to feel sincere. The food was good, so I’ll definitely be back.

Friendly staff, and good service

Im a infrequent but regular visitor to Chorley and the Hartwood has become my 'go to' hotel. It is convenient, inexpensive, reliable, but above all friendly and welcoming, so I will continue to use it whenever i am revisiting Chorley. The last time I stayed I was especially impressed with the extra efforts Tara went to - I had left something of personal value in my room and she was most helpful in making sure I got it safely returned to me.

Small but adequate room. Very clean, nice bathroom. However the hotel is attached to a pub with great restaurant. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Worth staying just for that.

Entrance outside the accommodation, bin over flowing with rubbish, loads of butt end cigarettes on the floor. This was from Thursday to my leaving on Saturday. Shower in room 9 full of mold, showered else where. The breakfast staff are fantastic and also the quality of the food, my only suggestion is, give a good quality egg. This was the only let down on your fantastic breakfast.

One night away in Chorley

The hotel was ideal for one night, parking was free and the breakfast was superb. Staff in the bar area and breakfast were friendly and professional the only negative was that we found the mattress and pillows very hard so didn't have a great sleep

A great stay, was greeted warmly, excellent evening meal. Only two downsides the room was extremely hot. Breakfast was ok, service was rather slow (fine if we'd been on holiday) not quite the ambience we expected.
