Room was small, but comfortable and warm, water was hot with a bath and shower. Tea/coffee was limited, and the room was a little noisy with the radiators clanking and the position close to a busy road. Attached to a Greene King pub, food was standard.

The property is located beside a nice and cozy Pub - this is also where breakfast is served. The entire stay was welcoming even though my room wasn't available when I got there (I was early) it was still available to me prior to check in. The staff are hospitable and genuinely took interest in my travels and made me feel welcome. I would recommend this place for people who are not planning to spend much time in their room, and will be going out to see the sights or for work.

The public house was nice although the toilets need attention. The hotel is tired! We had one hand towel and bath towel between us, the bed was very uncomfortable and the window frame was covered in black mould. Probably would not stay here again.

Good stay.
Great stay with a beautiful bathroom & excellent shower. Only gripe was breakfast not included when booking. Think hotel stayers have option to discounted breakfast when booking.

The staff were amazing but the room was too hot even the fan didnt cool it and the window was open. I ended up going home but my friend stayed. Which was very much not what we wanted as he travelled a good 1.5h to spend time together. There was no thermostat and i understand its winter and of course you want the room warm but this was over the top warm.

Great 1 night stay. Convenient parking. TIP! Put the hotel name in WAZE, not the actual post code. Post Code takes you on a wild goose chase. Nice “hotel breakfast” - £10.00 for hot & cold. Struggled with toaster, didn’t work well.

We chose this hotel as it is close to a family celebration we were attending. We were two adults iin a double room but there were only enough towels for one, left a message with bar staff to pass on but unfortunately they did not, the following morning we spoke to reception who immediately resolved the problem. However the shower lost pressure and reduced to a single dribble which was tepid. Otherwise our room was clean and comfortable as was the hotel in general. Also recommend the breakfast, so much choice. Would stay again.

Comfortable and warm.
Stayed overnight. Arrived at 2 pm and straight into the room. Furnishings were good...tea and coffee making facilities. Water in the shower room was wonderfully hot. Nice big bath towels. We had a nice meal in the restaurant/bar which was a pleasant area to sit in. The bed was comfortable and duvet and pillows good. Only fault with the room for me was light coming from the sides of the curtains which I was unable to eliminate. Some noise from other guests closing doors but that's not the hotels fault. We would stay here again.

Fix the heating!
Staff lovely, from welcome to any questions. Food was fine and wifi worked. Car parking was also great however the issue with heating affected everyone (i asked the guests at breakfast and everyone said the same experience). I woud hate to be paying this hotels heating bill. Radiator was at 0 and they had a huge fan in room before arrived (in october) so must know issue...... my choice.... sleep in a sauna or put fan on which was like sleeping next to a boeing 747 taking off.

Food good and appreciated a more varied menu choice than most budget hotels. Staff friendly. Room clean. My only grouse was the heat of the room. With the window opened, the radiator turned off, I still had to sleep on top of the bed because hot pipes running through the room made it too hot to sleep comfortably and this was the end of October!

Fairly easy to find. No dedicated office, it’s at the bar of the adjoining restaurant. Check in pretty smooth. Needed key to get in bldg, same key to enter our wing, same key again to get into room. Very secure but made us wonder what kind of neighborhood we were in. Room itself was small but cozy, furnishings were dated but we discovered that’s the norm in the UK. In the morning we found our rental car had a flat tire. They let us stay in our room while we waited the 2 hours for it to be fixed. The bright, bright spot of our stay was Natalie, the hostess, uber friendly & answered all our many questions. we’d book there again just because of her!

A great stay, was greeted warmly, excellent evening meal. Only two downsides the room was extremely hot. Breakfast was ok, service was rather slow (fine if we'd been on holiday) not quite the ambience we expected.

had a lovely couple of days visiting Chorley and stayed here for the first time - only one problem we woke up to no hot water and noone had bothered to let us know - we spoke to the manager and they offered us a free breakfast which was kind.

Delayed due to traffic accident so arrived after check in closed. However I called and left a voice mail in advance advising I would be late. All locked up when I arrived 24 minutes after check in closed. No response to further calls or knocking on the door. Ended up staying in the near by Premier Inn. Subsequently messaged the hotel about this and still no response.

Wouldn’t book here for a long stay
A quick stop over stay so arrived about 10.30pm. Pub was empty. Took a while to check in as lady behind bar was on the phone to someone trying to sort till. Room was in a building across road from pub. Room was so small. Hit me head twice in the way to bathroom as tv on wall at foot of bed and about 30cm to squeeze through. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Great Pub Let Down By Small Guest Rooms
This is a family-orientated pub with a friendly atmosphere. It is served by obliging, professional staff who are hard pressed by recruitment shortfalls. The accommodation is cramped, basic, and lets the location down although the use of simple keys to access rooms without compromising security was far better than card key entry. The food was excellent for a pub chain, excellently cooked, and cleanliness was not compromised by staff shortages. Loved the pub; felt let down by the accommodation. Would still go again, but would not recommend staying overnight unless it was to a salesperson or transiting service personnel. Access to the pub from east/southbound traffic was fraught during the rush hour.

Close to our destination
Check-in was good, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was in good condition. Good for an overnight stay. We had dinner in the restaurant the night we checked in. Fish and chips weren’t very hot and took a while to serve, struggling with staffing. Breakfast was Continental and a good selection. We had the option of ordering a cooked breakfast but declined.

Clean, Value for Money and Great Service too!
Check in was smooth, speedy and professional. Received my key and went across the car park to the hotel building. Room was spacious, warm, and clean. Plenty of sockets, adequate lighting, hairdryer, toiletries, and free wifi. Bed and quality of bedding was great and I had a wonderful nights sleep! Didnt make it to breakfast, but did have food in the pub at the evening of check in. Staff were a credit to the Greene Kings chain - friendly, chatty, professional, and efficient The food and drinks were reasonably priced and a very good quality I have booked for my stay here once a month up until December and I am looking forward to my return already!
