"I have soft spot for this place. I havve stayed here for many years. The rooms have a ton of space and are great for work stations, each has a seperate lounge area. The decor is tired and basic but well kept and clean. The staff are lovely and you can't beat the price. Breakfast is excellent and it's location makes for a peaceful sleep and easy getaway from Liverpool when it's time to leave. They have Yorkshire tea in the rooms, a bonus."

"My partner and I had a wonderful weekend here in room 356 a nice size room with a balcony and a sea view .Breakfast buffet style with great options.The swimming pool ,sauna and hot tub fantastic.The beach is massive and it is a nice relaxing quiet area not like Blackpool we will definitely be back here highly recommend."

"Good hotel !! Didn’t eat there so can’t comment !! Room perfectly serviceable but bathtub was far too small for anyone other than the smallest possible human being !! "

"Booked a twin room, it actually had 3 single beds and a large bathroom. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of food available. Good choice of food in the evening. Only downside was the lifts and stairs. Reception was on level 1 but you had to get the lift to level 2 and go down a short flight of stairs due to the layout of the building. It was the same with all rooms, you either had to go up or down the stairs from the lift, which does make it unsuitable for anyone with severe mobility problems, such as in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, and awkward if you have a heavy case, which I did, or use a walking aid, as I do, but this was a last minute booking due to a late hotel cancellation. Overall a really good hotel with very friendly, helpful staff."

"Breakfast was lovely I don't eat pork so it would've been lovely to have an alternative such as chicken or beef sausages. Thank you for a lovely day I look forward to seeing you all again The hotel and Staff were superb Thanks Joe Oxford safety"

"We went for the "privilage" room, the best option they have cause it came with a walk in shower. That was a must as my partner has an injury. We stayed 2 nights, the room was so basic, very similar to the Premier Inn just slightly bigger. So bad points, there was a 1 inch gap still there when you close the window, so it was pointless closing it. You could hear the traffic on the motorway and the wind was still blowing through. As we walked out into a courtyard area, my partner slipped and fell on the floor because it was so slippery. They mopped the outside tiling floor and didn't display wet floor signs. It looks good from the outside but the inside was very basic and you pay way more than its worth."

"Firstly, I would say all the staff were excellent, polite, friendly and professional. In our room the complimentary biscuits had a use by date of 31/03/26. They were nearly 3 weeks out of date. There is a water bottle in the room to promote sustainability and not keep throwing bottles in landfill….great. However ours had been washed, not dried and the lid screwed on. The smell of stale rancid water was overpowering. Reception sorted both issues but I would suggest the room hadn’t been used for several weeks and not been checked prior to our stay. Very poor!! We had dinner at the Cast Iron restaurant which was excellent. Our server Izzy who was ever smiling, efficient and attentive. Well done to her. The front of house lady was also very attentive and professional. The breakfast too was excellent with a fantastic choice and great quality. Internet throughout the hotel wasn’t great. Connecting to hotel WiFi was poor and and not an easy process and my own 5G was patchy. Thankfully we weren’t there on business. Overall…mediocre, other than the staff who were excellent."
