"Reception staff professional,friendly and helpful.Paola and Allesandro were wonderful.. thanks for the many tips. Thanks also to Louisa in the breakfast room very attentive ,welcoming and friendly...remembered guests names! We thoroughky enjoyed a few hours rekaxing in hot tub and terrace late afternoon after a day exploring. We made use of the hotel bicycles to get around the city and tour the wall pathway..fab! The lunchtime nibbles and refreshments were much aporeciated Third visit to Lucca and onky discovered hotel.illaria..we will return! Ann and Carol( Glasgow,Scotland)"

"This is a lovely place to stay in a wonderful location central to everything in Lucca. The room was clean, spacious, well decorated and importantly air conditioned (needed in that august heat!) Valentina was so friendly, she was attentive and helpful, making sure we were comfortable and happy guests. We would recommend staying here 😍😄"

"I was a little worried as it was close to the railway station but location was excellent and good vibes all round. A lovely and quirky hotel in an excellent location, just a few hundred yards/metres and you are through the city walls. City and the Mura di Lucca are spectacular! Would recommend and will gladly stay again as plan to be back again in the next year."

"A lovely stay in the heart of Lucca! We really enjoyed our stay at Lucca Charm. The location is fantastic — right in the heart of Lucca and within easy walking distance of the main sights, restaurants, cafés and shops. It was particularly convenient being able to come and go easily during the day. The property has lots of character and charm, and our family room was cleaned every day and was comfortable, with a double bed and bunk beds for the children. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was very much appreciated, as it was very hot in Lucca during our stay. Check-in was a little less straightforward than expected, as Matteo wasn't able to be there when we arrived. We initially struggled a little with the key, which needs to be positioned correctly in the keyhole before it will turn. We called Matteo and he was very helpful, video-calling us to talk us through it. Once we had got the hang of it, everything was completely smooth sailing for the rest of our stay. Matteo was a friendly and helpful host. We also enjoyed the breakfast arrangement at the café around the corner — a nice way to start the day with good coffee and pastries. You can also choose a sandwich instead of pastries. Being so central does mean there can be some street noise, but for us the fantastic location more than made up for this. Overall, a charming, comfortable and very well-located place to stay, and excellent value for a family. We would happily stay here again in the future."

"The property is centrally located in Lucca, a walled town. The instructions for entry into the property were very clear. The units are on the 1st floor, but this is Europe and they have 0 as ground floor and there is no lift. Driving within Lucca is a challenge, but that is part of the charm. Parking can be a challenge, but once you figure it out, it’s not bad. All in all, it was an amazing experience. The A/C struggled to beat back the heat, but that was typical for Italy in August. All-in-all, it’s a charming unit."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Stucci in Lucca. The palace has a wonderfully quirky and unique character, with beautiful classic artwork adorning the walls and ceilings, which made staying there feel like a truly special experience. The central location was perfect for exploring Lucca, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We were the only guests staying in the palace during our visit, which made the experience feel wonderfully peaceful and exclusive. A memorable stay in a fascinating and beautiful historic property. We would happily return and highly recommend Palazzo Stucci to anyone looking for something a little different and full of character."
